I bought a new carb for my rampage xt it runs at high idol and when I try to give it gas it dies

Source of problem can be many Assuming you changed the Carb because of a problem . Start with fuel pressure check
then remove clean - replace egr. many good videos on you tube on how to. Next check the tps throttle position sensor. Again youtube for procedure. Actually you may want to first remove the wires for the Mass Air Flow sensor (this also can cause the problem) Check to see if engine will accelerate If so replace MAF. If Noe of the above work it may be the computer.

The temperature display indicates "HI"

There are two possibilities for this error. Either the temperature sensor is defective or the units board is not reading it right. Here are a few suggestions to determine the cause.

1. If your system has two temperature sensors you could switch the connections and if the temperature is still off then it is the board. If the display is correct then the sensor is defective.
2. The manual may have a table of resistance versus temperature that you could use to test the sensor with an ohm meter.
3. If you call Pentair technical support at 800-693-0971 they should be able to help you determine what is wrong.

I hope this helps

The wires on my mass air flow sensor were broken (3)of them could you help me out as my new pigtail has different color wires and i would like to make sure i wire it right

Hi, does the sensor have letters A-E on the terminals? Normally the connector on the harness should slip right into the sensor. Does your sensor just have wires to be soldered--no receptacle? I have pasted the harness wire colors below for the 6.0 liter engine, including the terminal letter for each wire. If the sensor does not have letters, you will need to run a test to see which end begins with terminal "A". Since terminals A and B comprise the IAT, which is a thermister, you could use an ohmmeter on the 2 end terminals to see if the resistance changes with ambient temperature. Do not touch either sensor, but blow hot air on the IAT to see if the resistance changes with temp. Whiched 2 end terminals yield this temp sensitivity are terminals A and B.

Audable alarm on asus rampage board goes off as soon as pc is booted boots into windows no probs but the alarm squeels constantly

the beeps are post during post the very first work is done by the ram,all the memory in the ram is first transferred to the hard disk, and remains active untill turned off.

make sure that your RAM is securely seated

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect your hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electic extensions or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs its connections to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error
hope this helps

Oven continues to beep. On the display it reads "F2"

HI. this F-2 is a code that represents a oven temp that is way to high and it is not registering on the oven temp.

1. Look for welded relay contacts on bake or broil relays. If this happens, replace oven control (also called clock or ERC).
2. For SELF CLEAN models: check door lock operation.
3. Look for a high resistance connection or any other cause of high resistance in the oven temperature sensor circuit. Check sensor, sensor harness and sensor harness connection at sensor and oven control. Replace sensor if found defective.

Remember: Oven control (ERC) measures resistance of sensor circuit, not actual oven temperature.

ASUS P5VD2-MX Temperature label on speedfan

Hi dutchdj, speed fan software is not perfect. If you look on the motherboard, use your manual & go to page 1-6. You'll see there is a power connector in-between the memory & the main MB power connector. The 3-pin connector closest to the upper right hand of the board is for the CPU fan. The 3-pin power connector under the CPU fan connector is for the MB fan. You seem to have this covered. You are correct. There is no other 3-pin connectors for additional fans. (I went over your manual), your good!
It is possible that your software is trying to monitor the graphics card fan. I wouldn't worry about it. The temp 41c-44c is still within normal temp. If you want to help lower the over all temp, suggest you add 1 or 2 side case fans. These will bring in fresh air onto the MB & help cool CPU, MB, video & hdd's. I did this for my Asus & it has helped allot.
Check out this site if you want to add more case fans;
