Question about Toshiba Computers & Internet

Toshiba notebook SP2100. When i log onto windows xp it asks me to validate windows when i click yes. It says the windows is already validated and reboots the system. Even if i click no it just logs me off. How do i fix this?

Start ur op sys in safe mode
put ur op sys cd in drive and reinstall xp and its cd key

This is caused by setting the encryption to WPA-RADIUS instead of WPA-PSK on the client radio. Both the router and the client are
trying to find a RADIUS server with which to authenticate your system.Switch the encryption to WPA-PSK (pre-shared key) on both ends and it will work.

Formatted my everex 1500 laptop reinstalled xp home installed all the drivers got on the internet validated my xp went to microsoft update updated everything then it said to restart so I restart after...


You may have to activate windows first, even though this is a reinstall..Don't ask me why they're not the same process... See link here, and here. This link may help., and possibly this one.\

Getting counterfeiting message when I log on net.


Please go here to the Microsoft validation website.
Try to validate online by clicking the Validate Windows button. Be patient, install the Active X component on your browser and allow it to run, etc.
If this doesn't work, you can access the Support actions from the same site to troubleshoot your validation.
Finally, there is an option available to activate windows by phone if this is a new installation and all else fails.
To contact a Microsoft customer service representative to activate Windows by phone, follow these steps:
1.
Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click Activate Windows.
Or, click the Windows Activation icon in the notification area.

2.
Click Yes, I want to telephone a customer service representative to active Windows now.
3.
Click Read the Windows Product Activation Privacy Statement, click Back, and then click Next.
4.
Follow the steps in the Activate Windows by phone dialog box, and then click Next.

Note The number appears now and differs based on the location that you select.

5.
When activation is completed and you receive the following message, click OK.
You have successfully activated your copy of Windows.

For validation tools


You want the Windows Genuine Validation Tool, right? So it will tell you whether your Windows installation is valid or not?

It will be one of the downloads available when you go to www.windowsupdate.com

If it's not available, then it is already installed and will be in your system with a filename of "wga". (you could search for it)

Lastly, you could search microsoft's download centre for it.

If you are asking for a tool that will IGNORE your "not genuine" copy of Windows, then i'm not sure you're asking in the right place... ;o)

Toshiba windows xp problem


hi friend

ur windows xp cd is corrpat to make new copy of ur windows xp cd & try to install if not insatlls bye the windows xp cd

or try to install onther from the onther cd
if problem occers then u have to repartioin of ur hard drive & try to install windows xp
