For model HQ8150, the item you reqire to replace the broken gear is found at See link below

You will find generaal disassembly instructional video also at See link below (it's the second video)

Follow the instuctions in the video, then remove the wires from the motor by pulling on the wires as you puch in on the metal release tab next to them. Remove the two screws near the broken 'spindle' to remove the plastic gear plate. The motor assembly will then come out

I have a Braun 7570 and it is marvelous! I replace foil and cutter every year. This time after replacing it the shaver did not cut my hair. Battery still gets full charge. What is the problem?

Most likely, the 'drive unit' is bad. The drive unit is a component that consists of the swivel frame that the head snaps onto and the motor. Excessive noise while the shaver is running is also a major sign that this part is bad.
Unfortunately, Braun no longer provides these type of replacement parts for any of their shavers. You may end up needing to replace the unit.
Since you apparently like that model and you have spare shaver heads for it, you might want to consider a compatible model as a replacement. has a new model that uses the same foils and cutters as your 7570. You can see it at the link below

Fix Model 3105 also Model 3612

The small plastic piece falls out when cleaning the head. It goes back in the left side of the removable piece. Hold it with the screen closest to your body and upside down. The small piece fits in the upper left with the square edge to the left in the small recess. It just sort of snaps in.
Mine is actually the 3612 cordless but they look identical from the photo. I have been trying to fix it for 6 months. When a new head had the same problem with the piece falling out, I decided it might be repairable. After I pushed the piece back in, it stayed. You can tell where it goes by looking at the taken apart shaver (With the head removed for cleaning). The shaver has a plastic pin sticking up on the left side. This pin is what lowers the trimmer when the shaver is assembled.
Hope it works for you.

I need directions on changing the head on the Arcitec razor head

Changing the head on Arcitec models is very easy. It doesn't come apart like older models. For the Arcitec model you simply pull off the entire head assembly and snap on a complete new assembly. See diagram at the link below

You can purchase replacement heads for this model at See link below

Hello- I have a Remington MS-900 shaver that the head will not snap into position on one side. Since then I purchased another with the same model number, but the new head will not snap into the old one. ...

It could just need cleaned well as a buildup of whisker particles can prevent it from locking into place. But, the foil frame may be broken or damaged. If this parts needs replaced, you will find it available at See link below

1.5 year old 7140XL worked fine, then next time would not turn on at all. Charge light shows charged.Any suggestions?

There are two likely possibilities. These problems would either be that the head is damaged or jammed or there is a loose connection inside.
You can easily test if it is the heads by flipping up the head assembly and then turn it on. If it runs with the heads flipped up but not when they are snapped down, you can assume that the heads are the problem and they will need to be replaced. You will find replacements for this model at See link below

If the shaver will not run with the head flipped up either, you may have a loose connection inside...usually from the moto to the circuit board or from the battery to the circuit board. You may be able to locate and repair this but if your shaver is 1.5 year old, it is still under warranty. If this is the case, contact Norelco using the info in your user manual for the warranty

Braun Pulsonic 9595 Razor will not hold a charge ... where can I get this repaired in New Hampshire (03110 area code)

You can replace the battery yourself. The battery can be purchased from Amazon: and to replace it you will need to remove the rubberized back from the case. The black rubberized back is snapped into place on the silver case so to remove it the first thing to do is to remove the retaining screw. This screw is a Torx T8 and you can see it inside the socket for the power cord. Once this screw is removed, carefully insert a small blade in between the edge of the back and the case at the end away from the shaver head and gently pry up on the case back. Once you get a large enough gap, you can grab the edge of the back with your fingers and pull it off the case working toward the shaver head. The edge of the back by the shaver head has a small lip that slips into the case so it needs to be slipped out of the case edge last. Now you will see four Torx T8 screws holding down the plastic back to the silver case. Remove these screws and pull the back off the case straight up. You will now see the battery you need to replace in its holder. Remove the old battery from its holder and push in the new one in the same orientation. Replace and screw down the case back, snap on the black rubberized back and replace its retaining screw. Charge up the battery and you are good to go.

My shaver head broke! PLEASE HELP ME!

I just fixed my husband's razor. I took everything out and washed it all. Then I took the three things that touch the skin and put them in the three holes so that they fit comfortably. Then I put the sharp parts inside those thin parts. The I took the gray thing with three holes and snapped the little brown thing to it and turned the arrows on the brown thing so it snapped it securely to the things with holes. Then I put the head onto the handle by sliding the hook into it's hole, than brought the head onto the handle and snapped it shut. It fell apart the first time I tried it but I put it all back together and after that it worked like a charm.

Philips cool skin shaver fault

The shaver head symbol means the motor isn't starting, which all the support info assumes is because the heads are too gunked up with hair and congealed moisturizer etc, so clean it. In my case it was because the motor had seized - I completely dismantled the razor and turned the cog attached to the motor spindle by hand while turning the razor on, which was enough to free it up and kickstart it - you'll need some torx screwdriver bits - remove the battery cover (it may be a bit sticky since it is wedged against a rubber seal that it may have stuck to, but it does just lift off, there's nothing to snap), remove the black plastic retainer underneath that which hides a couple of screws holding the head assembly (you may need to prise the battery up to get at them) - undo them and you should be able to pull the head assembly off and push the motor up from underneath to free the plate holding the three cogs driving the head - beneath that is a big cog attached directly to the spindle, spin that by hand while starting the razor and it should hopefully spring back into life since you'll have freed the seized spindle.
