SOURCE: my triton topaz t100si (10.5kw)

If there is no heat at all then you may have a faulty TCO (Thermal Cut Out). A faulty TCO will have no continuity across the two terminals (the black thing on top of the heating tank).

Therefore a good TCO will have power at both connections and a faulty TCO will have power at only one (the function of the TCO is, if the water over heats it cuts the power off to the elements). Here could see one video about some tests...

If there is some heat then It may be a faulty element in the heating tank (there are two, three in most 10kw showers) you can check them with a multi meter you should have a reading of around 12>18 ohms.

If you have power to the elements and no heat it's probably the elements, no power to the elements then it's probably a micro switch.

Hope this helps.

SOURCE: triton topaz t80i. Power to unit ok, but no water flow.

I fitted my new triton amber 3 electric shower but no water comes out when turned on. The plastic inlet has a copper compressible fitting and the light comes on when the setting is at stop position so there is power going to it. When I turn the setting no water comes out. The fuse is only 30 amp at my fuse box, the shower is 8.5kw,do you think this is the problem? It worked for my last redring shower. Or would it not work if i;ve tightened the compressible fitting to the inlet too tight?
Thanks for any help.
Gary.

28487001 is not an electronic shower head made by Hansgrohe. It is an overhead shower head that has no electronic parts. Triton is a completely different company. If you have an electronic shower system by Triton you will need to contact Triton. If you have a Hansgrohe product feel free to contact Hansgrohe at 1-800-334-0455.

its the thermal cut-out... when there is something like limescale that causes the temp to get over 50c - the thermal cut out is
activated... it has to be replaced... which u can buy it from triton or get an engineer out to replace it

tip... make sure u clean the shower and shower heads often with a limescale remover....
