It will be problem without seeing it physically and more over if you are not familiar with electronics t then please don't try to repair yourself, you might get shock or even dead. if you want to repair yourself then check the mosfet and also battery of your ups. ok

Upgraded motherboard and windows 7 in restore during startup

If you put in a hard drive that already had an OS on it and such, it won't work since the new computer has different parts from the last. You will have to buy Windows 7, or obtain windows through some method of your choice and do a clean install. Sorry buddy.

I have a mitsubishi VS-5043....It shuts off after approximately a hour of watching, can it be repaired?

Yes, it can be repaired. There is so much heat inside the unit that is why it shuts off. When the heat gets high, then a component gets melted inside the unit.

The component that is most likely to get bad is a capacitor. Once a capacitor gets bad or melted, it begins to malfunction, like tripping off frequently, and other kinds of problem. Run a check on the power board and the main board for any bad capacitor and replace it with a new one.

Take care and good luck

I have a HP w2338h that has started buzzing loudly and the screen will go blank quite frequently. I have to power on/off and also move my mouse and type on the keyboard to get the screen to display again

You may have failing components in the power supply.
Most common failure in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, falied inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what goes wrong:
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further.

Denon AVR-3300 component channel switch burnout?

hi there, i don't have a solution unfortuantely, but i may have the same problem. I have a denon 2802 av receiver, i bought it second hand and I can't seem to get the component video in / out working. Are you supposed to just plug it in and it works? Because I can't find any buttons or settings to select component in / out as my input / output sources?

Make sure your filter screens are kept clear.
Protect Components from Overheating
• Don’t block ventilation holes on any of the components. Arrange the components so that air can circulate freely.
• Don’t stack components.
• If you place components in a stand, make sure you allow adequate ventilation.
• If you connect an audio receiver or amplifier, place it on the top shelf so the heated air from it won’t flow around
other components.
Hope this helps!. Otherwise in your owners manual, under troubleshooting it states:
TV turns off while playing
• Sleep Timer, Wake-up Timer, or Watch feature may have been activated. Go to page 45 or 69 for instructions.
• Electronic protection circuit may have been activated because of a power surge. Wait 30 seconds and then turn on again. If this
happens frequently, the voltage in your house may be abnormally high or low.
• The sleep timer may be set.
• Unplug. Wait five minutes. Plug in again.
Hope this help you out.

Wireless works for sometime, afterwards it stops.. the only way the wireless works again is to do a cold reboot/reset by turning off and on.. It is getting more frequent and annoying.. is there anything i...

The proglem is an electronic component inside is heating up and failing. Today's electronic components are so small, surface mounted, there is just not the mass to disipate the heat. You can try and open the case, feel for the hot part(s) and attach small pieces of aluminum to them for more heat sinking. MAKE SURE NOT TO SHORT ANYTHING OUT!

On my D-Link, two large integrated circuits were overheating. I used crazy glue to attach square "U" shaped alluminum heat sinks to them. The bottom of the "U" was no larger than the top of the IC's. That has helped a lot, but they still quit on me so I let them cool and then I continue computing.

880 universal remote volume button broke. little rubber botton on inside that pushes the volume button on inside broken.face plate cracked and arrow button on left right underneath face broken and missing...

My volume button also broke (actually, the VOLUME UP function stopped working). Rather than trying to get the remote fixed, I found a different solution...
I reprogrammed the + key (bottom left of the remote) to be my new Volume UP function. You can do this by going to any of the activities you've already defined, and adding a custom button to the activity.
Choose the + button (it will probably not have an existing function), and tell it to use the Volume Up function of the component you normally use for volume. In my case, it was the Home Theater Receiver.
I hope that helps.

The transmitter goes dead after a short warm up. Power supply is OK, however. Unplug it for a little bit then OK for a minute. Then poof!!! $200 down the drain?

Hi Jim,

Somthing in the transmitter has become thermally intermittant. I ran across these problems quite frequently on the bench and the best way to find the defective component is to use cicuit cooler on the individual parts until you hit the troublemaker. Of course you do this while the unit is on and connected to a signal source so that when it starts to work you'll know it. There are no voltages inside high enough to worry about. Does the light go off on the transmitter when it quits??

I cannot get Battery Indicater Light to quit beeping

There could be three (3) reasons why the low battery indicator is activated:
1. weak/undercharge/discharge batteries;
2. dirty/corroded/loose battery contacts/terminals; and/or
3. internal fault with the electronic sensing for battery level/state.

Corrective measures would require:
a. replace/recharge batteries. The new rechargeable batteries need at least 16 hours of charging time;
b. clean, scrape, tighten (need to bend a little more towards the battery terminals) the spring/contacts of the battery holder;
c. (on the internal fault) your best bet might be to seek the services of a professional electronic technician since this would need familiarity with electronic components, their circuitry and diagnosis, perhaps a bit of soldering and the use of a DVM.

Hope this be of help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.
