First turn on the player, go to settings, make sure USB mode is set to MSC
1. Connect unit to the computer
2. go to Start button
3. go to My Computer
Double click the 'Removable Disk' drive
4. There is a folder labeled PHOTODIR, this is where you drag your JPEG photos
5. For videos, they have to be converted first.

Here is link for conversion software:

IAM USING SONY CD..FOR TAKING PICTURES..AND NW .WHEN I WANNA COPY THE PICS IN MY PC..THE PICS R NOT GTNG DISPAYE??..WHAT CAN I DO TO VIEW THE PICS IN PC???

Hi,
camcorders will usually record videos in Tape/cd/dvd and the pictures will be saved on to a memory card, if available. So if your camcorder is having memory card then your pictures may be saved on to it. So remove the memory card from your camcorder, put it in any laptop card reader and transfer the pictures in it.
I hope this solution is useful to you.
Thanks

What else do I need besides the white charger cord to put music and pictures from computer to Sandisk?

You'll need the Sansa Media Converter to convert pictures (and videos) to a format the Sansa can handle. You can copy music simply with the computer operating system's drag&drop.

I could'nt get on line for hours so aol told me togo to recovery and redo the computer. i did that and now all my pictures and music are gone from my document. i can;t find nothing.

from the sounds of what you are describing aol has advised you to restore your system. basically if you used recovery you may have formatted your drive so all data would be lost

Pictures

Make sure the pictures/videos are in the right format first, suggested by the manual.
If they are not in the right format, use the Sansa Media Converter that came with the installation CD to convert them to the proper format.
