Question about Smeg S1100MFX5 Electric Single Oven
When heating oven up and sometimes during cooking, the oven randomly turns out, and it is not possible to turn it on. The ignition for the rings still sparks. It is nothing to do with an automatic timer as the clock led display goes out and nothing brings it back on until it decides to itself. This happened once or twice a month it now nealy seems to be weekly.
first is unplug the the oven from the wall outlet, to hard reset the setting. wait for almost 20 minutes then plug it again.
please tell me if there is still problem after this, melnavz

It sounds like you have either one of the following things that need attention. First, turn off both breakers to the oven and then back on. Next check the wiring from the receptacle to the back of the oven. Next, check your internal fuses. Most ovens have them. Last, check the wiring to the elements and control switches. Somewhere you have a wire burned off the terminals or control switch. That smell you referred to is probably one of the wires that may be burned.
