Question about Sharp LC-32SH12U TV
If you can see the menu on the screen but not anything else then the image processor has failed.
If you can't see anything but the screen is slightly lighted then the control processor has died. In both these cases the mainboard, on which the processor is soldered upon, will have to be replaced.
If absolutely nothing appears on the screen then the problem is in the power to the screen boards - they cause the power board to go in protected mode, shutting the tv down. You will have to check the inverter and power boards and replace the failed one.
If you don't know how to do it then call a pro and let him do it, there's nothing more you can do.
