Your coils are built into sides and top of cooler. Allowing unit to cool, by disipating heat.

there is a drain hole in the bottom of freezer near back wall if its a side by side. take out bottom crisper drawer to locate drain. than take hot water in a turkey baster and run hot water doen drain hole to unstop drain.

your defrost drain is plugged remove the back panel in side the freezer at the bottom you will see a metal pan with a hole in it clean around the whole and flush it with hot water a turkey baster works great for forcing hot water thru the drain and clearing what ever is plugging it

if you can find the a hole the opening is size of a hose, that is where that water should go, see if there is any small object blocking the way out or the hose maybe clogged, just clean it with hot water, turn it off first

Freezer malfunction


Drain hole is clogged behind the panel that covers the coils. I found a peice of solder blocking mine. Water was freezing on the bottom of the freezer and leaking out to the floor.

Fan not working and sides are still hot


For your water flow problem and leak; Check in back of the refrigerator bottom right side facing the back. You will see two plastic tubes, one is for the water dispenser and the other is for the ice maker. Check for a loose connection at that point for the water leak.
