Purchased bike. stickersays bmx pro 1974 trying to use serial # to see if this is really a bmx pro 1974

As far as I know "BMX Pro" is not a brand/model. Whatever the brand is, the serial number is often not useful. Contact the manufacturer (name on the head tube where the fork goes through the frame.

I want to know how many kWh per year my year 2000 model 25369832991 top freezer refrigerator uses

You would need to look on the label inside the refrigerator door that indicates the power consumption for your model. You would then need to compare this with the new model to determine the potential savings in kWh/year. Once you know the potential yearly savings, you would need to multiply this number by your electricity cost (it should be available from your monthly bill, or you can call the utility). Then you can determine how long it will take to recover the expense of purchasing the new refrigerator (minus the rebate).

I use around 7000 metric units of gas per year and need to convert this into Kwh so I can shop around. Any ideas?

  • Multiply by the temperature and pressure figure (1.02264).
  • Multiply by colorific value (39.25)
  • Divide by 3.6 to get the number of kilowatt hours (kWh)
7000 multiply by 1.02264 multiply by 39.25 divide by 3.6 ans 78047 kwh
Make sure you have the correct colorific value for your gas but 39.25 is most common

Hi, Yesterday I bought haier 12000 BTU air

To determine the cost of using this air conditioner, you will need to find out what your electric company charges per kw/h. This is the standard unit that electricity is charged for. Next determine the wattage of the air conditioner. This should be found on the unit name plate. If you can not find the wattage by the name plate, the take the voltage and multiply by the amperage, this will give you watts. Next multiply the wattage by 24. (watts per hour x 24 hours) Finally divide this number by 1000. This will give you the total Kw that the unit will use in a 24 hour period. If you multiply this number by the cost per Kw that will give you the operating cost of your unit for one day.
ex. electric company charges .25/Kw The unit uses 1000 watts 1000 x 24 = 24000 watts 24000/1000 = 24 Kw 24 Kw x .25/Kw = $6.00 day
Note: all figures shown above were randomly generated in my head, and have no correlation to your calculations. Hope this helps.

Have an older GE TFF20VB 19.6 CF Frig, want to

The GE TFF20VB 19.6 CF Frig is rated at an estimated average 1,438 Kwh/yr. The new one GE is almost twice as efficient. A annual energy savings of 68.289%. If you can afford to pay cash for the new one get the new one. Never finance or you will just be spending the savings in interest and finance charges and never actually realize the savings.
