Hi there Daniel,

Resetting is as simple as pushing and holding the reset button at the back of your printer with a paperclip and wait until the router restarts.

Please let me know how this goes. Thank you for using FixYa.

Where can I get another set up disc for this router

The support page to download the proper drivers is here:

http://www.dlink.ca/products/?pid=DIR-655

You will have to determine if your DIR-655 is the regular version or Revision B. there are instructions on the page to help you find this out.

click on the "support resources" tab, then on the proper revision of your product, then you should be able to access the "additional downloads" that include the software and manuals I assume you are looking for.

Problem with DIR 655

On the laptops, check that your Internet is set to use "Private" networks as opposed to "Public". Private networks allow others to see you and you to see others on the network, once you've entered the proper pass phrase as set up in the router's software. Your Manual for the router has the instructions you need to complete this process.

Really unstable Dlink dir-655 router

I would suggest you try to change the channel to a higher one and this solves this problem most of the times...You need to go to your router configuration to do that usually by opening a browser and type 192.168 ... and log in into your router...Hope this helps.
