I did all that it still won't work, where is the reset button? I don't see it anywhere-do I have to remove the bottom to get to it? Thanks

  • JERRY MCCLOUD Oct 15, 2010

Sorry but I'm not aware of any resets for wireless mice. Are you using it on a dark surface? Sometimes that will cause them problems. better if used of bright surface.
Sorry couldn't be of more help

My hp wireless mouse was working fine with my hp mini laptop all the sudden stopped working

My first guess is it could be the batteries. Have you tried changing it?

If it still won't work then I suggest reinstalling it.

Thanks for using Fixya!

GE wireless optical mouse suddenly stopped working. i restarted computer and tried to reset both mouse and the receiver to no avail. also changed out batteries.

Hi, my mouse work fine since pressed simultaneously the buttons of the mouse and the receiver. Previously, I had disarm the receiver, but all was fine, so I'd arm again the receiver and plug to laptop; I'd press both buttons and mouse work. For any reasson, mouse and receiver lost conection and is necessary re-establish comunication pressed both buttons. I hope my experience (my case) to be useful to someone.

Re: wireless mouse and keyboard; mouse not detected

I bought the same combo from a parts house. The guy told me the mouse didn't work but didn't know why. I had the same problem. When I inspected the mouse closely, I found that the connect button on the bottom of the mouse had stuck underneath the housing...basically in the "connect position". When I freed it, the mouse worked and still works just fine. Hope this helps
