Demo Mode on Fisher PC-9326

This TV we bought used & don't have its manual. The remote is a Fisher but not sure it goes with this TV. It doesn't have a "Menu" button.
Problem is the Demo Mode has come on & is scrolling accross the screen.
Don't know how that started nor how to stop it.

On the front of the set, on the bottom left-hand corner, you will find a set of buttons. Press and hold down the LEVEL > button that points right for about 10-15 seconds. Doing this should get it out of Demo mode.

By the way, do you know how to unblock a blocked channel on this same model?

Magnavox older tv; suddenly shows a "tutorial" which begins "Here's why this should be your next tv". then reviews tv's features ex: close captioning, sleep timer, language,...

Your TV appears to be in what is known as DEMO MODE, which is used when the TV is set up in the store on display.

In order to disable that mode and return it to normal operation, try the following procedure:

Turn on your TV.
Hold down the VOLUME UP and the VOLUME DOWN buttons at the same time for 10 seconds.
Be sure to use the buttons on the front of the TV and not the ones on the remote control.

Some models may turn off at this point while others may not. Either way, the set should now be ready for use in NORMAL MODE.

If that does not cure the problem, then check in your OWNER'S MNAUAL for the exact procedure on how to disable the demo mode feature.

I hope that was helpful to you, good luck and take care.

42" LG 42LC7D LCD TV stuck in demo mode?

Did you have any luck? My LG is stuck in demo mode too. Menu button doesn't work, and keylock was on as default so I can't use the buttons on the TV itself.

TV seems to be in some kind of sales demo mode

To disable the Demo mode, perform the following:
  1. Turn GA_googleFillSlot("TL-IMU-Article"); on the TV.
  2. Simultaneously hold down the Vol+ and Vol- buttons on the front of the TV. Do not use the remote control.
  3. Hold for about 6 seconds
  4. Certain model TVs may turn off, others will not. But in either case, the Demo mode should be disabled.

Samsung LCD picture adjustment... Store Demo...WTF...?

Push the volume button on the television set (not the remote) up once.

Then press the menu button (TV, not remote) for about 12 seconds.

It should flash once and go to dynamic mode (center, bottom of the screen), which will indicate that it is now in the "non-store-demo" mode, allowing you to save your picture settings, and access the menus.
