Your unit has a problem in the control ic try check it if there is a tack switch that have already resistance replace them if still occurs your ic is defective.

The problem is with the vcr section, it is stuck in eject mode thinking there is a tape. This a mechanical problem that might be repairable. The tv and vcr share some of the same circuits, you can try resetting the tray in the out position as if it fully ejected the tape. Now if this does not work it means you have a gear timing problem or bad sensor.

Most combos are reliant on the operation of the VCR. So the VCR will have to be sorted out. There may also be a power supply fault depending on the age of the unit.Good Luck,JUS004
