Format prepares the memory card for use. It should be done every time you finish downloading your pictures to your computer. Not only does this free up memory on the card for more pictures, but unlike repeatedly deleting pictures, this will prevent the memory on the card from getting fragmented.

How to format SD


Press the HOME button to bring up the menu. Touch the wrench-and-screwdriver function area to bring up the Setup menu. Touch the down-arrow function area until you see "Format". Touch that function area. Select OK and press the MENU button. Select YES and press the MENU button.

I have inserted a new 2gb sd card into my new vivicam 8025 camera and I am unable to take any pictures due to error message "card full" How do I formatt?


Press the HOME button to bring up the main menu. Touch the Setup function area (wrench and screwdriver symbol) to enter the Setup menu. Touch the down-arrow function area until you see the "Format" option. Touch it to enter the Format menu. Touch the left-arrow function area to select OK/Cancel. Press the MENU/OK button to confirm. My camera keeps saying the card is full when its brand new


Hi,
You just need to format the memory card. And make sure that you are in memory card option for the picture storage when you take pictures.
Formatting the memory card This function will format the memory card and will erase all files in memory including files that have been protected. Note: Once formatted all the images stored in the memory will be erased. This process is irreversible. Please download all images to the PC before formatting the card. 1. Touch the icon (arrow down) function area until you see the “Format” option.
2.Touch the icon (memory card drawing/picture) function area to enter the Format menu.
3.Touch the icon (arrow left) function area to select OK/Cancel.
4.Press the Menu/OK button to confirm.
5.A Format message will appear on the LCD.
FORMAT?
YES NO
6.Touch the icon (arrow right) or (Arrow left) function area to select Yes or No.

I pressed the format button on my sansa fuze and all my files deleted


The 'FORMAT' function is a destructive function that will, at the very least, destroy the directory of any Disk or Flash Drive and therefore 'delete' all files on that drive or partition!

Failed to overwrite all data bizhub 250


the overwrite data function is supposed to take about 35 hours but the ones that i have done took about 20 hours and ounce the process is started you should never interupt it this function overwrites all the data on the hard drive HD-504 you could try formatting the hard drive first then overwrite again

4 touch tech rep mode
5 touch function
6 touch hard disk format
7 touch yes
8 touch enter when the message the hard disk format completed.result:ng appears touch ok
9 touch hard disk format

11 touch enter this starts the formatting procedure
12 when the message "the hard disk format completed. result:OK appears touch OK
13 press the reset key
14 touch exit on the tech rep screen
if the format fails replace the hard drive the format process takes about 30 minutes if you need further instructions on how to replace the hard drive post it

My memory card is unreadable. I insert it into both of my cameras and into my computer and they all say the format is wrong and they won't read it.


plug your memory card into your computer
go to my computer right click on the memory card then click format.
Maybe one of your cameras have a format function on them, go to settings and it might be in advanced or memory then click format.

oops i accidently put this in clarification... dumb computer locked up and changed it...

HOW DO YOU DELETE PICTURES FROM THE CAMERA? I HAVE 147 PICTURES TO DELETE. I CAN'T BELEVIEW IT WILL BE ONE AT A TIME MARY


you can select the format function in the camera menu
or
browse to the camera drive letter on your computer and delete the pics or right click and format the removable camera drive

Flash error means there is a conflict with your storage or play function you want to select format which will erase and reset your mp3 so it will function properly.

after formating the player will then allow storage of music this error can becaused by overloading storage of player or the mususic files are in the wrong format to play
