Question about Quintum Tenor AXG2400 (501014500) VoIP Terminal Server

What is the cause and the fix for a AXG2400 when only 1-2 ports on the FXS phone go into a timeout. The phone appears to be off hook and the status shows a call in progress when there is no call in progress. The phone on that port becomes dead with no dial tone. This seems to happen more in the 24 port than in the 16 port. I have seen this a number of times. I have tried disabling and reenabling the port but after a reboot, the ports go back off hook. Is this a wiring issue at the 66 block where circuits may be spiking each other on the amphenol cable?

The Tenor AXG VoIP Gateway Configuration is used for (Phone/FXS) to VoIP connections; calls
coming from the Phone/FXS interface (i.e. PBX) may be switched as a VoIP call. Calls can be

Hi, this phone is analog so it can only be connected to a standard phone line, if your router or modem has a FXS connector (phone jack) with an active land line service, you could connect it there.

How does and Atlas 550 split to analog


The Atlas 550 is modular, and can break out the 23 channels as BRI or FXS. Since you want 23 analog lines, I presume you want regular 2-wire phone lines (aka, FXS lines). The you that by using 3 "Octal FXS" modules (8 port modules) in addition to the T1 module.

Hi i want connect a 7730 phone call to fxs port dvg 5008 .. what settings should i do?


A 7730 is a Panasonic system phone. It requires a Pana system to operate, so I'm confused as to what you're asking. If the phone call is INTO a 7730 phone and you want it to a phone on the DVG, you will need something to transport it, like an FXO circuit tied to the Panasonic's station ports. If the phone call is FROM the DVG and you want to answer it on a 7730, you plug the FXS ports into the CO ports of the Pana Key Service Unit that the 7730 is plugged into.

No output from serial ports


This sounds like an IRQ inturrupt issue. Do you have other serial devices on this computer? If so, you might consider removing any other serial devices and see if the problem resolves itself. If it does, you will need to reconfigure one of the devices to another IRQ so that they don't interfere with each other. Dan
