Sounds like it is either loose or a bad washer on the divert-er (the button to turn from tub to shower). you will need to take apart and see if it is tight if not tighten and see if that fixes the problem, if not then you will need to replace rubber washer. hope this helped tim

I installed a Moen L2353E tub/shower faucet and water won't come out of shower head

Couple of ideas: If you don't get water at all first check to see if the shut-off valves are open. If so, close them and remove and clean the cartridge. If water comes from the spout and not the shower head, make sure the diverter (the handle on the tub spout) moves up when you pull it. If that works, remove and clean the shower head since there might be debris blocking the water flow. Without

Why does the water not flow from shower valve when turned on?

Do you have water coming out of the tub spout and not the shower head? If so how does the water get directed to the shower head,is it by pulling up the diverter on the tub spout? If water is still coming out of the tub spout then the diverter is bad and the tub spout needs to be replaced.

When lever on tub spout is pulled up for shower use some hot water still comes out of the tub spout...reducing water pressure and temperature of water coming out of the shower head... Tub spout does NOT...

2 things can be happing here depending on the age of the tub spout. If the spout is more than 5 years old, you may need to replace it. if not that old then you may have a screen filter blockage in the shower head itself. remove the shower head from the shower neck and see if there is anything in the filter. while you have the head removed, try the tub spout again and see if problem continues. this should guide you in the next step to either replace the tub spout or just clean the shower head screen filter. Hope this helps.

When i'm filling the tub with water, the water back feeds up to the shower head and sprays out. I changed the spout and also moved the shower knob to make sure it wasn't stuck in the up position for the...

You will have water coming out of the shower head when you have really good water pressure. There might be more water volume coming out through the valve then what the tub spout can handle and in turn sends the water up to your shower head. When you fill your tub try turning the water only half way on not at full pressure, does this keep the water from coming out of the shower head? Most likely your valve has a 3/4" supply line while your shower head and tub have only a 1/2" supply line. Sounds like you have more volume to the valve than what the tub spout can handle. You might consider one of two things: 1) you can put a water regulator on the main supply line going into the house to lower your pressure, or 2) change out the supply line to the tub spout, increasing it from 1/2" to 3/4". Let me know whats going on.

I don't know how to open the shower. It only works the water below

Hello. At the bottom (spout) where the water comes out it have a pull button. Just pull it up and water should comes out trough the shower head. If water comes out without pressure and is partially comes from the bottom just replace the spout. (bottom part)

No running water from my shower

Check water lines to shower and make sure that there is no blockage or water cut off to it. Valve itself could be bad also or blockage inside it.

I f it is a tub & shower unit the diverter may be bad or stuck in place restricting water flow. Some are push button on the valve or a pull unit on tub spout to send water to shower head.
Cut water off and remove to inspect for reason not functioning correctly.
Remove shower head to inspect for blockage. The srceen may be stopped up for the shower head. Remove turn water on and see if any flow comes out shower arm.

Price Pfister Shower--No water to shower

Does the tub spout water flow stop when the shower knob is pulled?

Was the systems pipping flushed before the shower head was installed?

It may be clogged, remove the shower head and then attempt to operate. If it is clogged you will see debris trapped in the screen at its connection point. The shower head can be disassembled - cleaned - reassembled

Is the shower head an adjustable type, that may be in the off position?

Good luck
