Question about Labtec LCS 1012 Computer Speakers

1 Answer

I have LCS-1012 speakers. Where do I plug them into the back of the computer? Do I only need the cord that is attached to one speaker?

Thanks. I plugged it into the green round terminal on the back of the computer as you suggested. The power supply went from the back of the speaker that has the power switch on it, into the wall. But still no sound. I think I downloaded the driver correctly and it seems to be configured. Any other ideas?

Hi,

Your speakers should have come with a power cord also, because they need a power supply also.

But the cord you have to plug in goes into the green round terminal on the back of your PC. If the cord it a usb then fit it to any of the spare usb connections.

Hope this helps, let me know if you need more information.

Thanks

Jason

You need to go into the control panel on your program and then into the sound program and make sure it is not muted and that the speakers are configured to the sound card.

It may just be the volume setting in the control panel program which you just need to turn off.

No sound out of labtec lcs 1020 speakers how to plug in

On a desktop you plug them into a jack located on your sound card (varies by card model) . Laptops use the headphone jack to connect external speakers.

I have no power supply cord for my labtec lcs-1030 speakers- what do i replace it with? i cannot find specs for it anywhere online

On the back of one of the speakers, there will be 3 plugs; a green one, a grey one, and a black one. The black one is the power plug. Right below the power plug it says the voltage needed (I could only find one picture online, and it looks like it says 15v, which would be 15 volts). That number is the needed supply voltage, so search google for (number under plug) volt power adapter.

I can't find a driver to install my labtec LCS 2424 speakers

Most speakers do not need any sort of software. All you have to do is to plug it in

I do not have manual or driver, how do I install Labtec LCS 1014?

mcdevito75 here, Your computer already has the Audio installed, you just need the speakers themselves hoked up. If your a bit handy simply obseve the cable ends of the cables supplied with the speakers, plug the cables into the speakers, one cable should connect both speakers together for stereo and a 3rd cable should connect 1 speaker with the back of your computer, there will be a symbol for speaker on the back of your computer. Do not force and cables, as they should fit with a gentle push into place on the speakers and computer. Visit your local Radio Shack or Staples for more info.

I have labtec speakers for my pc and have no idea where to plug them in

Normally there should be a green or black single pin plug that will be attached to the speakers. this will have to fixed to the back of the PC. this port will also have a green color ring around it. ( THAT IS PROVIDED YOU HAVE A SOUND PORT ON THE PC)
