Hi, you can call Garland Range at 1.800.424.2411, and talk to the parts department, or you can visit www.garland-group.com and in the top right corner is a "contacts" tab, and you can email them your request. Hope that helps.

Griddle top replacement

well this is different, but sounds like fun. I would just Repair the gas griddle you have. from the sound of it you need to replace the 3 or 4 tstats that control the griddle. If you are in a Metro area you can find a dealer for Robert Shaw and get the parts you need. but you may also start at http://www.garland-group.com/. everything there will be newer but you will be able ask about where the data plate is and then get parts lists. call a small comercial kitchen repair company and ask for help there too.

Garland range

The unit does not have it's own shut-off. You'll need to shut it off at the building's supply. The plumber surely installed a valve right behind the unit.

Make sure a technician inspects the gas supply tubing for the OVEN pilots. They run from the front manifold, to the back of the oven, down the back, and under a shield. They tend to go bad.

Griddle top for older Garland 283 gas range

Hi, it may not, depending on the age difference of the units, the grease catch, etc.. contact Garland at www.garland-group.com , or call 1800 424 2411, the parts department should be able to tell you at least. Hope that helps, and thank you.

Garland gas range

look at the bottom panel below the doors.on the left and right side youll see screws--remove them.open the doors and you should see 2 more screws.pull the panel out towards you.youll see the serial/model number on it or the frame of the oven.if the glow coil is red try to manually light the burner witha paper towel.if the burner lights, the burner may be obstructed --if not the gas valve may not be opening.you will need a voltage meter to test the coil on the gas valve.if you get the correct voltage on the valve coil which is 24 volts ac and no gas the valve is bad.if you dont have 24 volts the ignition board is bad.let me know.
