Go to www.brother-usa.com and download your manual, then enlarge the diagram for threading because somehow you are missing a step for threading. You can do this, really, just take a deep breath, change your needle and rethread your machine. I think all will be fine.

I forgot to ask what kind of thread you were using. Is it the same weight upper and lower? And a good quality? I had a problem once when I was trying to use some old cheap thread that I bought from Walmart and once I bought the good stuff, I was fine. The only thing I can think of is that your timing is messed up, I hope that it is under warranty. Call Brother customer service, at 1-877-276-8437 and ask about this problem. I have my fingers crossed for you. I wish I had more solutions for you but sometimes it needs more than we can provide.

What is your question?

Sorry, I am not familiar with this brand sewing machine.

Hopefully you have a manual or are able to locate a manual. I wasn't able to locate one.

Probably the best thing to do is check that it is threaded correctly. Misthreading will cause a lot of issues. Also, make sure to install a brand new needle. It may also help to raise the presser foot when threading the upper thread. This works on a lot of machines, so it may with yours as well.

Here are some suggestions for thread breaking:

I am not sure about this particular machine but in most machines there will be a nob on the front loose low numbers like 0 1 -2 work well on number 3. If the nob is not on the front check and see if it is on the side.

Brother750e in-no is dowloaded photo transferred to stitches using foil thread or embroydery thread , top thread keeps breaking, I've changed the needle don't know what else to try . Please help

Metallic thread is often easier to break when sewing. Make sure the thread is not brittle and old; It may also require "Metallic Embroidery" needles that have a slightly larger needle groove and eye spaces. Also, make sure your thread does not have additional tension on it when being fed from a vertical spool. allow the thread to flow horizontally off of the thread spool into the machine.Or place the spool bottom down on the table next to the machine and let the machine pull it up and over through the machine which needs to be very properly threaded.

Want to sew straight stitch ,all the nobs are in right position, now it start to collect the thread around the bobbin case

Install a brand new needle.

Remove the upper thread entirely from the machine. RAISE the presser foot (keep it raised during threading process) and rethread from the beginning. Verify with the manual that it is threaded properly.

Check that the bobbin case is loaded and threaded properly and there is no thread stuck in the tension spring.

Retest. Adjust the upper tension until both threads meet in the middle of the fabric.

Top thread keeps breaking

Don't ship it back and the problem is not the tension settings. Even on the tightest setting the thread should not break. Most likely the machine is not threaded correctly. Possibly, you are using too thick a thread or a needle that is too small.

Solution back to basics:
1. verify that you are not using upholstery thread. Use a standard cotton poly mix.
2. the bobbin thread should be the same as the top thread.
3. consider watching a video showing the machine being threaded and make sure the needle is in the top position.
4. sew a test pattern on a normal weight fabric like an undershirt - avoid very thick material.

If this solves your problem then change one item at a time. Use a heaver thread if that is what you want. If it works ok then go to a thicker material, etc. Do not change two or more things at a time..If you have a problem it makes it hard to identify the source.

My top thread keeps breaking. I have adjusted the tensions on both uppper and lower threads, changed the needle. It seems like the top thread is getting stuck on something in the bobbin case.

sometimes the needle plate gets a burr on it which will break the thread when sewing. Usually 2 screws hold the needle plate on and remove those and pull the needle plate off. Take a close look at the hole that the needle travels into and see if its a little rough on both side. If so you can use a file on it to smooth it back down.

Thread keeps breaking, can't seem to get the

1. Maybe you are using the wrong size machine needle or poor quality thread.
2. You must always lift the presser foot before threading the machine to release the tension discs.
3. Maybe you have broken thread stuck in the discs or bobbin race. Give them a clean. Pull a thicker thread by hand through the tension discs when the presser foot is up.

My thread keeps breaking ON TOP on my Tiny Tailor. It is purchased NEW from a Store. Ido not know if it is the machine or me. I am not a beginner, just cannot get it going it is s singer

I would check to make sure your tension isnt tightened all the way down or not catching on anything, i know that slowing down the machine helps combating thread breaks. One more thing you can try even tho machine is new is to take off tension nobs and springs and turn over the felt pad underneath and rethread machine. Making sure needle is inserted properly, if in back wards it can cause thread breaks as well as needles sometimes burrs in needles (even new needles) will shred your thread and cause breaks. Hope one of thease suggestions will be of assistance

I have a Simplicity Embrodery Machine, and the needle keeps breaking. I have checked the bobbin, changed the bobbin, changed the thread, changed the pattern. It sews for about 5 seconds and then breaks.

It could be the thread is hanging up and breaking the needle.

Check the thread spool for nicks - turn the spool so the thread is feeding from the bottom of the spool.

Watch the thread as the machine stitches, if the thread is pooling at the base of the spool, use a thread net on the spool.

Open the needle plate and remove the bobbin and bobbin case - clean out any lint or thread snips that may have accumulated there - do this often to help the machine work as it should.
