Question about Intel Motherboard
I am having problem hooking up the case to the board i have power to the board but not power to the case i do not know where the ground wire go
Hi big_cool, do you still have you're manual for the A8N-SLI board? Go to page 2-29. The ground is clearly marked in the manual. Wire colors are different from case to case. Black & white are commonly known as ground. Every case connector will have one wire color in common. The common wire will be positive +. The speaker connector uses to wires in a four pin connector. Red is positive & black is ground.
This pic (below), has been blown up to help you see. EX: The hard drive LED + sits on far left edge. Bottom row. The ground is the next pin to its right. Up on the top row. Left edge pin is the positive pin for the PLED = Power LED. Skip one pin to the right & the next pin, (Third from the left) is the ground for PLED.
This should help you get the rest of you're case LEDs connected.
