Question about HEWLETT-PACKARD Pavilion G61631NR Notebook
Try once doing a hard Resset, as it solves most of the common problem.
1. firstly unplug the AC power chord.
2.then take out the Battery from your laptop.
3.Presss the power key about 30 sec to .1 min
4.then plug in AC power chord and do power switch on then see.
5. lastly again unplug the Power Chord and insert the Battery and do power on. keep your battery charging for 30min then see
it might be helpful for you!!!

I had trouble looking up that model on the HP page, but you should check this page and see if this model is affected by this NVidia litigation. If it is, you can get it fixed/replaced on NVidia's dime.
