If you have another keyboard try swapping it out and see if it reads the new one. Also a stuck key could possibly cause this error. System battery message probably means you need a new battery for the motherboard. If you replace the battery get the new one before removing the old one. If you leave it out too long you can clear the CMOS

My dell demension E521 is giving me a "alert system battery low" message. Any suggestions?

Check the batteries voltage and check to see if the battery is being supplied charge voltage when the computer is off. If both these are good then your low battery message is in error. No charge voltage would mean faulty charger and low battery voltage would mean faulty battery.

Alert chipset heat sink not detected system halted dell xps 420

Sounds like your heatsink which is inside the computer and sits on top of the CPU is bad. There will probably be a fan that sits on top of the heatsink.

Look on ebay and purchase one for your system.

I found a new one below on ebay for $14.95 (the link is below)

Dell XPS 600 battery failure alert. What type of battery does it need? Where do we locate the battery and is there any special way of exchanging it out for a new one?

It's the CMOS battery. CR2032, available at your friendly neighborhood electronics store. It looks like a nickle and sits on the motherboard. Just pop out the old and press in the new.
