Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

I have a Toshiba laptop.. completely new, and it was 700 dollars. When I go onto facebook, or clothes shopping, all of the pictures are blurry... but text is fine.

I understand that you are having the issue that you are getting Blurred Pictures while accessing the sites. To answer your query with the proper steps the information about the Browser you are using is required. If you are using the Internet Explorer you may follow the steps: Launch the Internet Explorer browser by double-clicking its Desktop icon or selecting it from the Start menu. Click "Tools" in the top menu bar of Internet Explorer. Select "Internet Options" from the drop-down menu. Click the "Advanced" tab and scroll down to Multimedia. Check the box next to "Smart Image Dithering." This will help to ensure that images are loaded properly. Right-click on the image in Internet Explorer and select "View Original Image" from the pop-up menu. This will force the browser to display the original image. Check to see if any installed Internet browsing accelerators are compressing your browsing too much and causing the blurred pictures. For example, the MSN Accelerator (used to enhance the speed of an individual's Internet connection) can sometimes cause blurry images due to high levels of compression. Right-click the "MSN Accelerator" in your Windows task bar (bottom right-hand corner of your PC's screen) and set the level of compression to "None." If you are using the other browser you may try resetting the settings. Even in Internet explorer you may reset. But note that resetting the Brower may deleted the saved information like password and auto fill.

For additional help if you need please revert back with the exact details like the browesr you are using.

You may also try updating the flash player and check the operations

How to change text size in Internet Explorer

Some web sites use larger text while others use small, hard-to-read text. To change the size of text that appears on a web page in Internet Explorer, follow one of the two procedures below.

To change text size:

To make the text that is displayed in your web browser larger or smaller, click View on Internet Explorer's menu bar. From the drop-down menu, select Text Size. The five choices for text size will appear: Largest, Larger, Medium, Smaller, and Smallest. Medium is selected by default, but you can choose the size that you want. To change to a different size, just go back to the View menu and choose a new size.

Internet Explorer saves the selection that you make. If you load a new web page, or close and reopen your browser, the text size will remain at the level that you've chosen, until you choose differently.

To zoom:

Another way to alter text size is to use the Zoom feature. Zoom increases or decreases text size, but it will also make everything else on the page (such as graphics) larger or smaller as well. Zoom options can be found under the View menu, next to Zoom. You can choose a preset percentage to zoom, or enter a custom value, or just go larger or smaller by stepped increments.

The nice thing about zoom is that it has keyboard shortcuts associated with it, unlike the Text Size feature. By pressing [CTRL][+] you can zoom in (make everything appear larger) and [CTRL][-] will zoom out. If you want to reset the zoom value back to the standard view, press [CTRL][0]. These shortcuts will affect text size, but only in proportion with everything else on the page.

Some web sites (such as Yahoo) are designed so that the Text Size feature won't override the text size specified in the site's code. For sites like these, you can use the Zoom feature to enlarge or reduce text size.

I need to increase text size on the Internet and I am having problems. Isn't there a way you can increase text size by brushing two fingers across the track pad and pressing control or another key? ...

If you're using Internet Explorer 7 (or 8) on Windows XP, or Internet Explorer 7 or 8 or 9 on Vista:

* hold CTRL and press "plus" to increase the font-size by 25%
* hold CTRL and press "minus" to decrease the font-size by 25%

You can do this more than once! Use CTRL-and-"zero" to reset to 100%.

Look in the bottom-right corner of IE's "status bar" (use "Tools" and "Tool Bars" to enable the "status bar") for the current magnification, i.e., 100%

Internet Explorer 8 is part of Windows 7 and can be re-activated using the steps indicated in that page. Try them to see if them can help you solve your problem

Microsoft had just released Internet Explorer 9, with some new features, like a minimalist look browser interface, download manager, add-on manager and allowing the use of video card GPUs to accelerate the image, video and audio processing when loading the web pages to make the loading process much faster. If you want to try it, you can download it from

Certificate error on web site.

This is basically an Internet Explorer 7 Website’s Security Certificate problem! You have to self-sign the certificate on the client computer or add the URL manually to the trusted security zone. When you are trying to access a secure web page, you receive the warning message:

"There is a problem with this website's security certificate. The security certificate presented by this website was not issued by a trusted certificate authority."

Or

"Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept data you send to the server."

To fix this issue, you can follow either of the methods:

ie%281%29.jpg

Method 1:

You have to install the Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003 (Windows SBS) self-signed certificate on the client computer. To do this, follow these steps:

  • In Windows Internet Explorer 7, click Continue to this website (not recommended).
A red Address Bar and a certificate warning appear.
  • Click Certificate Error button to open the information window.
  • Click View Certificates > click Install Certificate.
  • Click Yes, to install the certificate, when warning message appear.

Note: For Windows Vista users, right click on Internet Explorer icon. Select Run as Administrator.

Method 2:

Add the URL to the Trusted Sites security zone:

  • Open Internet Explorer
  • Go to Menu bar > Tools > Internet Options.

    tool.jpg
  • Click Security > Trusted sites > Sites

    sec.jpg
  • Type the URL in the Add this website to the zone text box > uncheck Require server verification >Add > click OK

    trust.jpg
  • Click OK to exit.

    cus.jpg

Now you have added the URL successfully into the Trusted Sites security zone.

I accidentally blocked out photoes on a web site, which just leaves the text on view. How can I get these photoes back When a photo came up I accidentally pressed the block button on the picture and this...

You would have disabled the images on your Browser, check out these ways to Block images in Firefox & Internet Explorer and try to Undo these steps.

In Firefox you can disable images from loading by going into the Preferences, then on the "Content" tab, uncheck the "Load images automatically" checkbox.

In Internet Explorer 7, go to Tools/"Internet Options" and then click on the "Advanced" tab. Scroll down to the "Multimedia" section and uncheck the "Show pictures" checkbox.

Both of these methods will prevent all images from being loaded automatically, while still allowing you to right-click on individual images to force them to load. This trick is also useful if you're on a slow network connection (such as a modem or GSM/cell connection) or a website with questionable images while at work.

If not read this link bugjee.com/firefox/how-to-block-images-for-specific-website-in-firefox-30/ on how to Block images for a specific website and unblock them.
