Do the following:

1. Disconnect the ac adapter.

2. Remove the battery.

3. Find the reset button and reset your laptop. It should be located on the bottom part of your computer and marked "reset". Take a tiny screwdriver, a thumbtack pin, a paper clip, or any similiar object and push on the reset pin.

4. Plug in your ac adapter (without the battery) and try it. If it works, go ahead and reinstall your battery and try it with the ac adapter on.

5. If it turns on with the ac adapter connected and the battery installed then you're good to go. If it doesn't then it's your battery.

6. If it does not turn on with your battery removed and the ac adapter connected then it's either the ac adapter or the dc jack.

7. You can test the ac adapter at your local pc shop or electronics store. You can purchase an ac adapter at one of these shops or order it online.

8. If it does not work with another ac adapter then it's more than likely your "dc jack" and that takes alot of work. The dc jack itself is relatively inexpensive ($6 to $30) depending on where you purchase it. The fun part comes in replacing it. You can do it yourself if you're good at soldering or you can get it done at your local pc shop or if you can take your laptop apart and put it back together then any local tv shop can do the soldering for you.

9. Have fun, Good luck, and let me know the outcome.

Have a cub cadet 50 inch cut zero turn, after cutting grass for 30 min or so it acts like wants to die but if I shut the PTO off it catches up but will start to die if I reengage the blades. starts a

When it starts cutting out and you turn off the PTO, how long do you have to wait until it can be turned on again? It sounds as if your PTO is overheating and loading down the engine. Run the mower for about 10 minutes, shut it off, and carefully feel the PTO housing. Resume cutting and repeat after it starts cutting out.

Replacing it is not as simple as changing the spark plug, but does not require an advanced degree.

My fan does not work. I havwe tried updating the software and it is up to date. What are my other options?

There are two possibilities:

A. Your laptop is simply not getting hot enough to turn the fan on. A lot of laptops are becoming very heat friendly with newer processors requiring less power and producing less heat. Running the fan reduces battery charge faster and all laptops avoid using it as much as possible.

B. Your laptop is over heating and shutting down when you use it. This is easy to spot as the laptop will often not boot back up for 20 to 30 minutes after the first shut down. Or it will let you restart it, but the shut down time gets shorter. If this is the case, the fan is broken or jammed.

Solution is to clean the laptop out with a can of compressed air. You can also use this to spray right on the fan to make sure it is free and will spin. If this does not solve the issue, the fan needs to be replaced.

"logging off" ... it never ends. now what?

From your start menu, choose computer, at the top of that window hit system properties, on the left hit system protection, It should be open to the system retore page, Hit the system restore button. What you want is to restore to the last day your computer shut down right. For me that was just before the last windows update on 5/7/2009 when my computer as well started not shutting down. The system restore doesn't erase any of your files it just restores the system files and drivers back to the date you specify. Worked for me!

Radio shuts off at volume of 16 or more

Maybe a protection component cutting in.
If you have speakers that are too powerful for the radio it may shut down to protect the amplifier from overdriving the speakers. That produces too much heat in the amp chips/transistors and they either have a overload cut out protection circuit or they burn out.
Even if the speakers are the stock fitted ones the wattage could be bigger than the amp in the radio can handle.
There's probably no way of knowing how powerful the speakers in the truck are but you could try the radio with another set.
Max 50 Watts for that radio. If you don't have the manual for it, it's available here:
