Question about Lexmark Office Equipment & Supplies

I Have a lexmark x 7550 .Trying to print from my email top half prints fine it is the bottom half of the message print in a source code

    Still prints in a code . We even added another printer still does same thing . I think it is in my msn settings somewhere . Have looked all over can't find . Thanks for your help Kathy

I believe your problem could be twofold.

1. Your printer may have never been installed correctly (not your fault, almost no one it seems really knows because these days the operating systems make it seem like it happenned right).

2.You have a "worn out" registry. By that I mean it hasn't been cleaned and cleared safely.

Let go with #2 because without you in chat, writing you the correct uninstall and re-install of a printer is a veritable treatise.

Please go to the below site and downld "Ccelaner". Clean your temp files and registry using its simple tools. Do not change ANY of the settings. Do not try to be a techie. Just use the simple help menu and run the program.

If your printer is still a problem, you will find that a host of others you's gotten used to have disappeared.

When printing my emails I only get only half the message, top part and the bottom half is blank.


Depending on which email service you are using, I.E. Hotmail, you may only be getting a screen shot of the email. In other words it will only show exactly what your seeing on your screen if you simply right click and print. Hotmail has a little ACTIONS with a downward pointing arrow on the right side of your screen. Click that and select print and it will print the actual message instead of a screen shot of the message. I have to assume other email servers use similar techniques to print the actual emails instead of just screen shots. Hope this helps.

Lexmark printer won't print on bottom half inch of page


Make sure to set the correct paper size when printing. Letter - letter; legal - legal size.

"Communication Not Available" message is displayed


A quick fix for most communication errors can be achieved by resetting the printer and/or rebooting the PC. Simply disconnect the printer from your computer. Reboot your pc. Unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, reconnect it to your computer. Then try to print again once the computer fully recognizes the USB connection.


If that doesn't help, try the steps below:

1. Disconnect the printer from your computer.

2. Unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it.

2. On your computer, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes.

3. Delete the Lexmark print object.

4. Reboot your pc.

5. When your pc turns on, reconnect the printer.

6. Wait until your pc fully recognizes the USB connection. To check, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes. If you see a new Lexmark print object in the list again, then try to print again.


You may also try to update your printer driver by visiting the Lexmark website at . Select your operating system, download and execute the file.

The auto print head alignment prints ok. The Nozzle check from top to bottom prints as follows: 3eBK ok; 6C top half light blue - bottom half darker blue; 6C ok; 6M top half light pink - bottom half darker...


It sounds like your black (K) or Black/Yellow (KY) head needs to be replaced.
The problem appears to be in the top half of the black head.
Without knowing more (like what make/model the printer is) I can't help more than that.

Printer wont comunicate with Computer


Try to unplug your printer from your computer. Unplug and replug your printer into the power source to reset itself. When your printer turns on completely, reconnect to your computer. Try to print again. If problem continues, you may refer to these articles in the Lexmark website:

Can't print an email


  1. Open up Yahoo your Email, (either Classic or new version) click on your Inbox to view messages.
  2. Double click (or click on the subject line to open if using Yahoo email classic) the message that contains the desired message or photo you wish to print.
  3. Locate and click the "printer icon" (the picture looks like a printer) on the top of Yahoo email or go to the File menu at the top of your web browser and click "print."

    If you are using Yahoo email classic, they have a selection (once you are inside of an email message) on the top--to the right of the screen that allows you to click "printable view."

    A new window will open up and your entire email will appear. Click "print," which is underlined, at the top right of the screen.
  4. A dialog box will pop up and ask you to confirm, click the "OK" button on the bottom of the screen.
  5. Your entire yahoo email message should print out fully (not just the header). This is good for articles, messages and photos you wish to keep.
  6. Bear in mind that one page on the screen is not equivalent to one printed page, in fact, it may be quite a few more pages.

    If you only wish to print one page: select file, print and click on the second radio button in front of "pages 1 of 1."

    Or, specify 2 or 3, for example. If you know it will run into more pages.
    Click the "OK" button at the bottom of the box to start printing.
    You can always reprint if it doesn't print correctly.
  7. These steps will work for either Yahoo email classic or the newer version of Yahoo mail.

*2 make sure the printer s working fine ., make a copy and it that comes out fine then the problem is with the file u r trying to print or as in most cases ., we need to reinstall the printer drivers .

Left side of email doesn't print


In this case what i would Request u to do is......... Goto Control Panel goto Printers folder......... There u will see the Lexmark Printer Icon........... Just right click on the Printer Icon and click on Properties......... Now click on Advanced and goto Print Processor......... Change it to Lexmark X1100 and NTEMF 1.0008........ Click on Apply click Ok now try to Print.......... Prints Fine............Issue Resolved........ Same Problem........ Download the Lexmark ToolBar from: http://www.lexmark.com/lexmark/sequentialem/home/0,6959,204816596_1255995709_0_en,00.html

Restart your computer once and now try to print using the Lexmark Tool Bar.......... It should work fine........ Good Luck..............

HP Photosmart 7550 printer


There are some print head cleaning modes you may want to try.
In your menus , look around for those and run the print head calibrations and cleaning procedures.
Also with the printer unplugged. Dampen an cloth with some rubbing alcohol and remove the print cartridges, lightly clean all the contacts with that damp cloth.
They may just have some ink on the contacts giving you a false failure message.
Hope this helps you out. They can be fickle.
