SOURCE: Sears compressor Model 919.155730 flywheel/motor shaft not secure

It could be that you are missing a shaft key, look to see if there is a groove in the shaft and in the flywheel if so there should be a key in this groove to keep the shaft from slipping.
Your local hardware store should have one. You will need to Measure the keyway width and height to buy key stock of those dimensions then cut off the length you need.
If it is a Woodruff or Half Moon key 2ea7913.jpg it might be harder to find the right one but a good hardware can do it.
Hope this helps.

Campbell Hausfeld VS5006 Compressor runs slowly

Rmove the drive belt and check the motor. It should turn very freely by hand and if turned on should start up easily. If it turns hard check the armature bearings if it starts slowly but turns OK after you give it a push, you have a bad start capacitor. If the motor is OK check the pump. It should turn fairly freely except on the compression stroke where you should feel slightly more pressure is needed to turn it. If you can't turn the flywheel or it turns very hard, you should check the connecting rod to crank shaft joint and crank shaft bearings. These usually go bad if there is low or no oil in the crank case.

What is a counter balance on a chevy malibu inside the tranfer case

An internal combustion engine has a crankshaft, a clutch, and a transmission including a main shaft rotatable by the crankshaft through the clutch and a countershaft rotatable by the main shaft through gears. A counterbalance mechanism includes at least a primary counterweight rotatable in synchronism with the crankshaft, and a hollow shaft rotatably supported concentrically on the main shaft, the primary counterweight being integrally mounted on the hollow shaft, the clutch being corotatably mounted on the hollow shaft and operatively coupled to the crankshaft at the same speed as and in the opposite direction to the crankshaft.

Hitachi EC12 Air Compressor Parts : MASTERTOOLREPAIR.COM

Here is a site that says:
1. Are the capacitors good? (They get the motor going).
2. If they are, replace the stator, ($245)

If you don't find a good solution there, I would try taking it to a local motor rebuilder.

Broken cog on compressor motor 919.166440

Below is a link where they have a variety of parts for smaller craftsman compressors.
I didn't see an exact match for your model however I think if you contact them they will probably be able to help you out. I'm sure that motor/pump model was used on several different models.
Hope it helps.

Remove the bearing on a 5hp 110 volt 28 gallon oil less compressor

This is very hard to do but not impossible. The problem is the rod journal is pressed on the motor shaft. You have to remove the coils / rear end of the motor and carefully place the rotor in a vise. Use a steel rod and hammer to gently force the crank off the shaft by hitting crank from rotor side thru vent holes of front motor housing. It will not be easy and you could easily damage shaft, crank or rotor. (but what the heck, it does not work anyway) If your are successful and able to replace bearing, press the crank back on using loctite then drill 1/8" hole thru crank into shaft and drive in a roll pin. Good Luck!

pull the cover where the wiring goes into the motor, usually there is a wiring diagram on the underside. If not, go to sears online to see if you can get the manual for it
