Move the adapter much closer to your wireless router.
The reception should achieve "excellent".
Make sure that the antenna on the router is vertical,
unless you have more than one antenna.
In that case, follow the manufacturer's recommend for positioning and alignment of the antennas.

Poor reception

There are many causes for poor reception on a cb radio one cause may be poor or poorly assembled antenna, a good antenna should be of highest gain and put up as high as possible ,An omnidirectional antenna or Ground plane will hear moderately well
in all directions but a directional antenna or Yagi will hear great only in the direction it is turned you will certainly have to decide what you or your homeowners association will allow.
Also and finally The sun is a major factor in communications Propagation sometimes no mater what your setup the reception is terrible.

Poor reception when trying to get MW

Poor reception or with heavy noise aas the interference is very high on the MW. If there is no signal strength then the fault can be due to faulty RF in the radio, poor MW oscillator settings or a faulty IF settings.
Also a faulty antennae can cause poor reception and pick of stray signals.
Check for other interferances from household applicances.

Some channel no sound

Hello Blwas5 hi, If some channels have sound and others none, its either the TV has poor reception or, its the channel's weak signal. check them both or see if your neighbors TV acts like yours. If thy neighbor reception is good, then thy TV has poor reception, you can't do anything to fix that. get another TV with good reception qualities.

Poor reception through wooded areas , and over hills. overall poor performance, will not work sometimes 1hundred yards in woods. advertise 26 miles! any help appreciated

Poor reception will be experienced in wooded areas and this is normal as the trees absorb RF energy. Range is dependant on conditions and terrain. Better range over water and open Country side, poor range in the middle of a built-up area. Low band better in hilly areas and UHF better in buildings. I have yet to find a pair of walkie talkies that will talk for 26 miles without a repeater.

Does't connect to network - search Network

Hi
It sounds like you may have a poor 3G reception in your area. Even though other O2 phones are working better they may be running on the 2G masts in your area.
Try in setting/network menu turning off 3G reception, that way the device will only look for 2G masts. Your handset will give priority to 3G masts where available and sometimes will hold onto the weakest signal making poor call quality, and or dropping connection.
Advantages to using 2G only = better standby and talk time / better reception where 3G is poor.
Disadvantages = Slower web browsing / no video calls.

WEP / WPA will only apply if you are connecting using WI FI and have nothing to do with your mobile network connection.
Hope that helps?

Station 1450 has irregular noise when car is running; 1240=OK

Hello,

If the "static" you are getting is a high pitched whine and the noise volume increases and decreases with changes in engine speed, you probably have alternator induced radio noise.

Many times such noises are caused by poor ground connections that have begun to corrode over time. First try removing or loosening the screw or bolt which grounds the radio to the vehicle frame. Using a fine wire brush or a piece of steel wool, clean off both the terminal and the location on the vehicle where it was attached. Then reattach the ground. While you are behind the dash, make sure that the antenna connection is fully seated. Pull it out and put it back in again to make sure.

If these steps do not solve the problem, you may need to install noise supression devices. The are available at many retail locations like Radio Shack and some auto parts stores, as well as numerous online stores such as: http://www.crutchfield.com and http://www.sonicelectronix.com.
