Lexmark E250dn , asks me to add paper but paper tray is full, where do i check for the sensors

There is a sensor relay arm under the body of the printer in the hole created by removing the paper tray.
Look for a long thin peice attached to a spring assembly.
There is a wire that plugs in to the relay it may be loose.

You might also remove the paper, push the metal peice of the paper tray into a locked postion and then replace your paper

i had the problem and fixed it. If it is the same problem as me, you need to make sure that you are cleaning the right peice of glass. The main bed is for putting the paper on there and scanning, but if you look to the left there is a small strip of glass that is used for scanning from the lid. There is probably only a very small dot of dirt or ink on the strip of glass. To help find the spot, look and see where the line comes out on the paper and then compair where it comes through the ****.

Scanner not scanning right. scans in sections. i need to scan a standard size sheet of paper and it scans it in peices. how do i get it to scan this document correctly

You need to set the scanner to scan a standard size paper (letter or A4) in the Scan Settings dialog. To get there, from the MP Navigator select "Scan Photo/Document", then on the lower left side of the preview area click on the "Specify. ." button. Your Document Size is probably set at "Auto Detect (Multiple Documents)". Change this to the size document you are scanning and click "OK". Now you can preview and scan and not have segmented images.

Lexmark 6675 won't download application list

Look back there and try to inspect the "pick wheel" that pulls the paper from the automatic document feeder. Is it turning? trying to pull paper? if so, it could need cleaned. Make sure there isnt any little peices of ripped paper blocking any openings or sensors.

When trying to fax I get an error "open adf cover"...

You should be able to. It sounds like you've got a paper jam in the document feeder. Chances are there was a jam and part of the document (a small peice perhaps) is still lodged in the document feeder unit.

Epson DX6050: Feeder pulls the paper in from just one side

There might be small peice of paper stuck in the paper path. use a flashlight to see if there are any obstructions in the machine. use a thick peice of card stock to maybe push the paper out.
