Bulb life is rated at 2000 hours and it is the decline period for your bulb. You eventually had to purchase a new bulb ans this is the only solution......

Thanks

Hi,

Yes the bulb is on it's way out, you can check the hours the bulb has done and if it has exceeded 1500hrs then you will need to replace the bulb.

Hope this helped, let me know if you need more information.

Thanks

You should have a hour meter on the projector in the back of it or on the top, if not then you can only see it on the menu screen, but you may not be able to access this without the remote.

Voire 46" plasma tv- best color settings, to much white

The proper way to set flat screen tv's is opposite of old school CRT tv. First, find a movie with dark scenes and pause on a really dark part. Now set brightness only high enough to see some detail - no more. then go to a really bright scene and set contrast just high enough for good brightness. You may need to go back and forth a few times to get good setting.

The picture is very dark and it has a new bulb

Unfortunately, this is not an easy diagnosis. It could range from being an issue with the brightness level (which can be accessed from the menu) or an internal processor defect.

First access the menu and verify the brightness levels and contrast levels.

Next, make sure the problem isn't in a single input by changing the inout of the component that you are viewing. Component cable inputs are notorious for going bad so try an HDMI if one is available or even a basic composite cables will work for diagnostics.

If the picture is still dark after this it's probably a processing problem and will require professional maintenance.

Turn the brightness up slightly and turn the contrast on the highest setting. There may also be settings to control wether your projectin on a wall or on a screen. Make sure these settings are correct to your setup.

Ibm thinkpad monitor very faint, images are barely visable.

It seems that the contrast and brightness are out. On the monitor, press the Menu button. Then go to the brightness and reduce brightness and set the Contrast to a little more. You will have to tweak these two settings to get the correct picture. First set them at default and the go up and down to get the right picture.

Display screen to dark

Hello
First thing you need to do is,inside where you can see the screen, search for the brightness and contrast options in your cameras menu. Once you know where they are go outside and try to tweak it until it works. Usually you would want a higher brightness, then just adjust the contrast until your satisfied.

Hope this helps
