First off what is the exact error messages you are receiving secondly if you haven't already i would suggest deleting/uninstalling the printer and software and reinstalling the latest drivers/software.
You can download the latest software at this link:

Thank you,

It sounds like there is a major error/defect internally on the printer that is not user serviceable. I would contact kodak directly in regards to the error.

If you need to contact Kodak (see www.kodak.com/go/contact), have the
    following information available:
    • Kodak Service Number (located inside or on the outside of the printer)
    • Printer mode number (located on the back of the printer)
    • Computer model, operating system, and version of Home Center Software
    • Exact wording of any error message(s)

If the unit is under warranty have it repaired under warranty. If it isn't under warranty it will most likely be in your best interest to replace the printer.
    Thank you,
    Lee

If you haven't yet, yes try that first. If the problem persists then it's definitely and internal defect and you should contact kodak.
    Thank you and good luck,

I would try both as you have nothing to lose. Just make sure to follow the instructions on updating the firmware.
    Thank you,

KODAK ESP 3200 SERIES WILL NOT SCAN

I had the same problems; missing Icon and 100-2105.
This solution on the Kodak web site solved my problem.

http://support.en.kodak.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1276/kw/ERROR:%20100-2105/selected/true

From your computer desktop, select Start > Run.
Type %windir%, then click OK.
Double-click the twain_32 folder.
Right-click the kodak folder, then select Delete.
Insert the KODAK All-in-One Printer Software CD into the CD drive, then go to D: > printer > scanner.
NOTE: The CD is indicated by D: above. The CD drive may be a different letter on your computer.
Double-click aioscannr.msi, then follow the instructions to remove it.
Go to D: > printer > scanner, then double-click aioscannr.msi, and follow the instructions to install the file.
Start Home Center Software.
Select Scan Documents and Pictures.
Scan a document.
If the error continues using a Wi-Fi connection, make sure you select the correct printer in Home Center Software.
If the error continues using a USB connection, see the following section to reinstall the printer.

Dead HP 3200 series printer

The only fix I have used is a cold reset there is a firmware upgrade you can try if this does not work.
TRY THIS:
Turn the machine off and unplug for 1 minute or so.
Plug the unit back in:
Press and Hold the enter/menu key and asterisk key
Turn ON
Hold the enter/menu key and asterik key while the unit powers up. Once you see the message "Permanent Storage Initialization" let go of the keys.
Hope this helps

Kyocera cs 1820 or copystar = error message = 3200

3200 is a problem with the exposure lamp. If you are in a dirty enviroment, the problem could be dirty mirrors under the scanner glass.

HP 3200 LaserJet wont scan or copy, I have check my Service manual on HP 3200 Laser Jet All-in-one Chapter 2 Table 7 Control Panel Error Message and don't fine error message for this.

There is a little sensor switch in the paper tray for the scanner, and when you put the paper in, it will flick the switch so the printer knows that there is a document there. If the switch has failed, then you will be presented with this problem. Check the paper intake for dirt and grime, and also see if you can see the switch. It's usually a little black lever. Make sure it is there, and also that it moves freely. Don't pull at it too much or you could break it more. If it isn';t there, take your unit to a service centre for repair.

Scanner error

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the driver. If it occurs again, the the manufacturer of the scanner of yours may have some special thing (security) in the flatbed of the scanner. Like for example scanning money or so.

Sleepy Scanner?

try using windows driver first, so that we will knowif there is a problem with your scanners driver.

Open paint and click on file and click on from scanners and camera and let me know if it will give you an option to scan from that app or if you will get an error message.
