Check if it is plumbed into a hot water line or cold water line, and is the water heater for the hot water line working? There is also a heating element for the water used also to dry the dishes. Check if that element is heating up at the proper times. The element could be bad, or I have seen them just become disconnected. You will have to take the bottom panel out to access it to check it for continuity. If it checks good and was connected, you may want to check the switch in the timer. It could have burned contacts not allowing the heating element to heat up at the proper times. There may be a timer cam chart taped to the inside of the door panel to check it. You will have to check the various terminals for continuity per the chart. An Ohm meter works good. Make sure power is disconnected from dishwasher and label the wires prior to removing them from the timer for testing.

Tony -

Your heating element has probably burnt out, but it's possibly just a break in the wiring or a bad connection to the element.

You need to gain access to the element to do some resistance/continuity testing to find out which of the above is the problem.

Hope this helps.

Machine gets stuck between rinse ans spin and sits for a while then spins but wont stop, then **** from the in the machine or hose is on the clothes???? Any suggestions? Machine is a top loader smart drive...

You could try a hot load with epsom salts....this will clean out the machine....Make sure it is with hot water. It goes slow in between rinse and spin possibly because it is slow draining...clean out the pump. Also as it FILLS make sure the water runs in properly and not just trickle in making a hissing noise. Good luck. Tony the technician.

Only get cold water entering washer ... no warm or hot

1. Close hot water valve behind washer.
2. Remove hot water line from washer side and place it in the drain.
3. Open hot water valve to ensure pressure and hotwater is ok in your drain.
4. If not, problem is home related.
5. If pressure and hotwater are ok, then see if your fill valve filter is clogged where you disconnected the hotwater hose attached to the machine.. Its called a fill valve. Sometimes they get clogged.
6. If the hot water side of fill valve looks ok with no blockage, then you might be looking at a new fill valve.

Miele G 7856 Commercial Dishwasher

Hi. The above machine stops mid cycle and drain/fill light is on, also error code F3E, have cleaned both hot and cold water inlet filters, also checked drain pump and drain line, all ok. Machine drains with no issues and fills with hot water, runs for a while then shuts down.
Any ideas?

Zanussi da4342 dishwasher

The dishwasher should heat the water to about 55 C as the heating cycle starts. In these cycle, the dishwasher pauses after has filled with water and wait for the water to reach the temperature. If the water isn't being heated (because of a problem with the heating element or thermostat), after the unit stops at the heating cycle, it never continues.
Another possible reason is that the timer unit is defective. If you have observed anything different post a comment.
