The way we solved this problem was by entering the end of service procedure waiting at least 4 sec between each step than pulling plug

The "Cavity Size Select" jumpers in the wiring harness indicate a cavity size different from that which the control was previously configured for. Check the jumpers in the harness to make sure they agree with the actual oven size.

How do you determine what jumper or what terminals should be jumped .

It usually comes with the part. If not try the tech sheet. The tech sheet should be located somewhere on your stove.

Whirlpool wall mount oven won't heat at all. Error code E3 F1

Technical sheet says all F1 codes to replace control

Jan 17, 2014 | Whirlpool Ovens

2 Answers

E3 F1 displayed and will not go away after pressing cancel. Don't know what is wrong.

Please check the full model number of the range.

The F1 E3 error is one found on ranges made by Whirlpool. It indicates that the jumpers in the wiring harness have been set to a different cavity (oven size) then the one previously stored by the range. Check that jumpers are correctly configured to match the actual oven size.

If you haven't had any repair work done on the range recently, you should contact a service person.
The 79012 model number gives me full model numbers similar to 79079012100. Sears Parts Direct does not have parts for the range. However, I suspect the control board has failed.

I hope this helps.

E3 -F1- this message just started showing up on the display of my Kenmore Ultra Bake Oven Md#66575842003

Hello there and thank you for choosing fixya
The E3-F1 ERROR CODE is a fault code that tells the consumer that the ovens main controle panel has a problem
This could simply be a wire that has came loose but a lot of the time the controle panel has failed and will need to be replaced
Here is what you can do
First disconnect the power Totally and slide the oven out and if you can remove the back of the unit and check to see if there are any wires that are loose or really greasy if so clean them and replace them also remove the panel at the top to expose the control board and do the same thing as in the previous step.
If you can find the wire harness look for the place where it attaches to the board and disconnect it then wait 30 seconds and reattach it.
after this has been completed leave the oven unplugged for at least 45 min total to allow for the internal reset feature to attempt to reset the memory feature on the oven then replace the back of the oven and any other parts that may have been removed
plug in the oven and press the cancel button if the error is still showing then yes the board is fried and a new one will have to be installed ok?
Hope this is very helpful for you
Best regards mike

After 10 minute power failure the Code E1 F1 keeps appearing on display and will not allow me to clear or reset

the error code means that there has been a eprom error. Follow the directions below, if this fails to clear the errror code you will need to replace the control board.

1. Disconnect power for at least 30 seconds.
2. Re-apply power and observe for at least one minute.
3. If code re-appears, replace control board (also called ERC or clock).

Note: Applies to all F1-E... codes except F1-E3.

If you have any further questins please feel free to ask.

What does E1 - F1- mean on display?

F1-E1 - EEPROM Checksum Error - Disconnect power for at least 30 seconds and then reconnect.
Allow at least a minute after power has been restored and if error code reappears, replace control board (clock).
