Question about Epson ACULASER CX11NF All-In-One Printer

1 Answer

Network Card Hi, I just replaced the photoconductor on my aculaser cx11nf and the printers were offline after that. I spent almost 3 hours with a tech support over the phone and at the end she said that the network card needs to be fixed. I called the Service Center she gave me the info about and the person told me that it doesn't make any sense, so the network card must have reset itself to default settings when the photoconductor was replaced and that I need to restore the settings to what they were before. Can anyone tell me how to do that? Thanks!

There are two ways of making this big baby work the way you want to make it work

1. Download and install the EpsonNet Config software from this link: http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&oid=58603&prodoid=58311371&infoType=Downloads&platform=All

2. You can also set it up using the control panel byt following the network setup guide from this link: http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&infoType=Doc&oid=58603&prodoid=58311371

How do I fix a paper jam cef for epson aculaser cxn11nf?

Diagram of doors should be above control panel of printer.

Lift ADF/Scanner up. Open door "C" just below it. Lift orange photoconductor lever up to release photoconductor. Lift photo conductor up towards you. Inspect for jammed paper and remove if necessary. Replace photoconductor, close lever and door "C".

Open door "E" on rear of printer and look for jammed paper and remove. Close door "E".

Last place to look is in paper tray. Take stack of paper out and look for paper jam. Removed as needed.

These are the three places i have had jams and you will only find the jam in one of them. Most likely it will be in back in Door E

Epson ACULASER CX11NF we have to replace the PCU every 3 months,

The photoconductor (PCU) is used whenever you print anything. They should last between 10,000 copies (colour) and 20,000 copies (black only), so roughly 15,000 pages. If yours is going through them quicker it could indicate that there is a problem, try giving Epson Customer support a call and ask for advice.

ACULASER CX11NF Photoconductor reset - chip?

The reset chip will not provide you with a long term solution to your problem. The photoconductor unit is now full of waste toner and the photoconductive drum, prime charge roller and wiper blade are all worn, this is the cause of the message. Your only real and the correct solution is to replace the Photoconductor unit with a new one. Remember that this is part of the consumable set for this printer and is therefor costed in as part of the cost per page.
Should you proceed with the replacement chip, you will be opening yourself to deminishing quality print and eventual failure of the unit.
