This unit only accept MP3 or Unprotected WMA files. The audio file your trying to play is probably protected, make sure what your adding is MP3 is the safest way to go, as those cannot be copyrighted.

Can I fix a C00D11CD: Unknown error for free ?

This problem has to do with codecs
(compression/decompression schemes) needed by Windows Media Player in
order to play back specific file formats. Try DL VLC PLayer see if that helps, plays just about everything.

Downloading of CD's to MP3 Player

Are you trying to synch tracks directly from a CD. If you are, you first have to rip the tracks. In windows Media player, you first need to setup the type of file you want to rip to (MP3 in this case). Right click on the top bar of the WMP and select Tools|Options. Select the Rip tab and under the rip settings, change the format to MP3. Select the quality you want (higher quality means less music can be stored on your unit). 192 kbps is a good setting. Now, click OK or apply as appropriate to get out of the menu. Insert your CD and click on the RIP tab of WMP. Your CD's tracks should automatically come up with checks marks beside them. Start the RIP process. Once it is complete, you can then drag the newly ripped files from your library to the Walkman and they should be synched.

Synching songs to Sansa m240

YOU MIGHT NOT HAVE SYNCED RIGHT....YOU MIGHT NEED TO DRAG AND DROP YOUR FILES OR CONSIDER GETTING A SANDISK E200 OR A CX00 VERSION MP3 THEY ARE MUCH EASIER TO WORK WITH

Playing songs that won't play and deleting songs I don't want.

when you synch your device to windows media player 11 on the side bar under the name of your device says songs click on it then find the songs you don't want right click and delete as for the songs that won't play i'd say it's probably because it doesn't support the format of the music

"Synch problem: Synchronise to continue your music subscription"

I would suggest formatting the unit and trying again, but this time do not sync it with media player. Plug it into your USB and got "My Computer", the player will show up as a removable disc usually drive f:, right click on the drive and hit format, quick format shoudl work. Once formated double click the removable disc drive, and then click and drag or copy and paste your music into this drive and see what happens. That player should support WMA files, but just to let you know, if you convert those files to MP3 it will take about half the space and therefot you can store more music at once. Sansa MP3 M240 No volume when playing songs, says to synch

Where did you download the songs? Napster?Rhapsody? Any online music stores? Try synchronizing them using their software. If you have ripped songs from a cd you may want to rip them again and before ripping them check this option on your windows media player software. Tools > Options then under RIP MUSIC remove the check mark that say's Copy Protect Music or choose the file format as MP3. Then format the device using the windows media player software(for version 10 = click on the sync tab then choose the pencil like icon on the far right, for version 11 = right click on the sync tab choose the player and choose format) use after doing that rerip the songs using the windows media player software.

GPX MW3337 sync problem

1- Check that your MP3 Player's File system is OK, you can do that using the DOS command (chkdsk /f). 2- Re-install your Windows Media Player 11. 3- Don't forget to update your system, too.

Device keeps shutting off by itself and won't synch

Make sure the songs are in the right format. Napster is a real bear about disappearing songs - try another music svc.
