Every time i put a new cartridge in,it says i have to align the paper, for the scanner .,, or something to that effect, and prints out a paper that has lines on it etc,, I have to put in the scanner and make sure its lines up right and print out a page, well, every time i turn my computer on, i get that message on my screen stating that ,, YOU'VE JUST INSTALLED A NEW CARTRIDGE AND MUST BE ALIGNED UP,,, i have done the alignment 35 times but that message STILL shows up everytime i start the comp. up.. ALSO. before i can print out anything,, it spits out that piece of paper that has those aligenemt lines on it first before it prints what i want .. How can i get rid of that message that comes on my screen that says i must align paper up first. everytime i start up my computer? Ive done the alignment many times,,,,, thanks

The HP All-in-One prompts for an alignment of the cartridges every time a print cartridge is installed or replaced. Follow these steps to align the print cartridges from the control panel.
Load unused, plain, white letter, A4, or legal paper into the input tray.
NOTE:If colored paper is loaded in the input tray when the print cartridges are aligned, the alignment will fail. Load unused, plain, white paper into the input tray, and then try the alignment again.
Press 6 to select Tools.
Press 2 to select Align Print Cartridge.
The unit prints a print cartridge alignment sheet.
Load the alignment sheet print-side down and top first in the center of the document feeder tray, and then press OK.
Follow the instructions below to install the print cartridges for the first time.
Installing print cartridgesStep one: Install the print cartridges
Follow these steps to install the cartridges.
Open the cartridge door.
The carriage moves to the far right side of the product.

Remove the new cartridge from its packaging and, being careful to touch onlythe black plastic, gently remove the plastic tape by using the pink pull tab.

Do not touch the cartridge ink nozzles or copper contacts. Touching these parts will result in clogs, ink failure, and bad electrical connections.Do not remove the copper strips. They are required electrical contacts.

Slide each new cartridge forward into the empty slot. Then gently push theupper part of the cartridge forward until it clicks into place.
Insert the tri-color cartridge into the left slot.
Insert the black cartridge into the right slot.

Close the cartridge door.
Step two: : Align the print cartridge
The product prompts you to align cartridges every time you install a cartridge. You can also align the cartridges at any time from the control panel, or byusing the software you install with the product. Aligning the cartridgesensures high quality output.
Make sure you have letter or A4 unused plain white paper loaded in the input tray.
Press OK. The product prints an alignment page.
Place the alignment page print-side down on the scanner glass.
Press OK to scan the alignment page. When the scan finishes, the alignment is complete.
If you have colored paper loaded in the input tray when you align the cartridges, the alignment will fail. Load unused plain white paper into the inputtray, and then try the alignment again.
after replacing the ink cartridge align the printer. Press alignment cartridge located in the printer properties. After printing the alignment get the paper and put it in the scanner. The computer reads it
Occasionally you will have to replace the print cartridges and when you do it is always a good idea to align the cartridges to ensure optimum quality. 1Verify that the printer is turned on. If the printer is not on, check to ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet, then press and release the power button one time. Wait for a few seconds while the printer powers up.
Step2Lift the paper output tray. Load the letter or A4 unused plain white printer paper into the paper input tray. Lower the paper output tray.
Step3Double left click the "HP Solution Center" icon to open the application. Single left click the "Help and Support" tab. Single left click the "Printer Toolbox" link. Single left click the "Align Print Cartridges" option to open the "Alignment Page" window. Single left click "Align."
Step4Wait while the printer prints an alignment page. Examine the alignment page carefully and select the option that appears to be most correctly aligned. Select that option by single left clicking the corresponding option on the drop-down choices in the alignment window.
Step5Single left click the "Done" button once you have entered all appropriate options. Wait while the printer prints a confirmation page.

when you insert the new cartages then when the align page will print put it in the scanner and scan it once the align page will be scanning it will not print the align page up to you not change the cartrage
Start the cartridge alignment by performing a series of button presses from the front panel of the product.
HP PSC 1200 and 1300 series:
Turn on the HP PSC 1200 or 1300 series product.
Disconnect the USB cable from the all-in-one.
Press the sequence of front panel buttons below to start the print cartridge alignment process.
The button-press sequence must be completed within ten seconds. It might take several tries to complete the sequence within ten seconds.
Press and hold Cancel .
While holding Cancel , press On .
When the Check Paper and Check Print Cartridge lights begin to blink simultaneously, release both buttons.
Press Cancel again.
Press Copies .
Press Paper Type .
Press Color Start Copy .
The alignment page will begin printing.
If the alignment page does not print, repeat the button-press sequence in this step.
When the alignment page has printed, place the page face down on the scanner glass and press Scan .
The alignment is complete when the On light stops blinking.
Reconnect the USB cable.
This can occur if the cartridge alignment is canceled or times out without a valid print cartridge alignment stored in memory.
