Question about Samsung Washing Machines

Open Question

Washing machine Samsung Sensor Quick SWFP12 won't start when pushing the start button. There is no visible or audible reaction. The door can be opened normally. Door contact is ok. The tiny start push microswitch on the pcb is ok and is effectively pushed-in when pushing the start button in the centre of the program selection knob. Pump and heating element are ok. Electromagnetic water valves are ok. (Multimeter measurements). Program selection is ok. Time indication is ok. There is no error code and no alarm led is on. Some diagnostic (?) program - left two pushbuttons pushing and then on-off-switch pushing on - leads to spinning and pumping. Thanks in advance for your suggestions. Karel

Had the same problem as described above. Could hear it trying to pump out the water but had no lights except for the Door Locked light. Cleaned the pump filter by removing the bottom front cover. Unscrew the filter and clean out the lint and junk. Have a bucket ready to catch the water.

SOURCE: Maytag Neptune TL electronics problem

I’m not sure what machine model you have your in the FAV6800AW forum. I got Maytag CSV to send me a Control Board for my FAV6800AW. Had to do some arm twisting it is under warranty for 5 years. If you think your Control Board or console is under warranty give it a try. They wanted a Cert Svr Tech to diag the problem. I told them my neighbor was a Svr Tech (me) he had diag the problem and would install the part. They sent me the Control Board, it might be worth a try. I have a number spare parts not under warranty and ebay is my 1st choice, Second Choice . I use this for parts look up Sears Parts Direct.
What is your model type? It sounds like you have Service Manual for your machine and you are troubleshooting in the right direction. Do you have surge protection on the 120VAC outlet powering your machine. Good Luck Rich.

SOURCE: Bosch Classixx 1200 red wash light flashes but doesn't start

Could still be the water inlet valve. What you need to do is pull the washer out where you can get to the valve and the plug. Unplug the inlet valve and start the washer and when you start it as normal check the volts of the plug and see if its 110 if it is you know that the valve is getting power to open but not, replace the valve. If you dont get any voltage then it could be the relay or control board

Electrolux w455h washing machine is comming error 45 moter not floow..what is the reason comming like this????thanks...

Family error code E40 is visible to customers and (could be E41,E42,E43,E44 and E45 only visible in service mode) means problem with open door or door interlock.
I suggest rapid reading alarm code when appliance is in normal operating mode (e.g. during the execution of the washing
programme):
Press and hold down START/PAUSE and any of the option buttons for at least two seconds: the LEDs initially switch off, and then display the flashing sequence corresponding to the alarm.
The alarm sequence continues as long as the two buttons are held down.
E41 - Door open
E42 - Problems of door closure
E43 - Interlock power supply triac faulty
E44 - Door interlock sensor faulty
E45 - Door interlock sensing circuit triac faulty

Possible causes:
Door interlock faulty, wiring faulty or PCB faulty.

Why won't washing machine start?

It is most probably the door sensor that is faulty. If the sensor does not sense the door closing the machine will stay in "open door" mode and will not start with it's program.

If the machine is still under warranty, take it in for repair or have someone check it out for you. It should be a quick fix, if parts are available.

Washing machine won't start

Check your door when it closes, it should hit a push-in button above that door latch, at times I have seen the door hinge bent down just some, causing the door not to strike that button dead on.

If thats fine, then its likely to be the door latch assembly or the CCU board bad.

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

It is indicating that there is a problem either with the door lock or the door locked sensor requiring a service call, sorry ;-0(

If this has assisted and/or clarified the situation for you please consider a 4 thumbs up on our rating.

Door light turns on when you start the machine but turns off a couple of seconds after that and the washer won't do anything. It's a frigidaire aft7000eg0. Any ideas.

check the door interlock sensor. Somewhere there is a tab or button that lets the washer know when the door is closed. If this switch isn't being triggered it could be that the machine thinks the door is open and won't function.

Maytag Neptune - door locked, clothes inside, lights are on, no reaction to unplugging and replugging. Help! My work clothes are in there! Thanks a lot.

The manual says that you should push the on/off button to turn off the machin. Wait for 2 minutes for the door to unlock. Then open the washer door.
