Question about Televison & Video
TV made a slight pop and the picture went out. Gave no indication anything was wrong. Perfect picture, then black. Can hear the sound perfectly.
If I had a model # it would be helpful but my guess is the deflection circuit failed and a fuse opened in that circuit. Could be vertical or hoizontal circuit failure but either way you will need test equip. as well as solder/desolder equip. to repair it. If set is over 10-12 years old you may consider replacing set in this case Sorry I can't be more help.
