My mum recently bought a new alba lcd tv. and is more than pleased with her purchase. Unfortunately her cat jumped on the tv table and sent the tv crashing over. Thankfully no damage was done to the tv. I was wondering if there was anything I could purchase to try and prevent this from happening again, I dont want to superglue it but just to try and make it a bit more safe and secure as it is so much lighter and fragile than her last tv, grateful if you could help!

Impossible to answer definitively without the model number off the rear label, but here are three manuals. They are all online. I hope you go the remote for it as access to the Settings is normally via the remote.

hi had the same problem with alba 42" (l42m1) spoke to customer services at argos who suggested holding down menu button for 10 seconds then pressing menu again, which aparantly resets remote with tv. Has worked for me, hope it works for you.

Perhaps your computer's output is at a resolution your tv can not deal with. Try using a different resolution on your computer, and the PC input is selected on the TV.

Power Plus Online sell a replacement ac adapter 'PSU 1' at www.power-plus.tv we purchased one recently for £29.95 and this works fine.
