Question about Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate for PC
This may be caused by an external device or a update that installed improper drivers. Try the following,
-Remove any external devices you have connected to the computer like usb hard drives, headphones, speakers etc.
Does the problem go away?
-If this problem started right after you installed certain software, windows updates or drivers, I would recommend you uninstall them. You can view Window updates by going to Start > Control Panel > View Install Updates (under program and features section).
Alternatlively, you can use Windows 7 System Restore to restore the computer to a previous working state. Go to Start and type in the search box "system restore".
-If you have some technical inclination, you can view your Windows logs by going to Windows event viewer. You can open up event viewer by going to Start and typing in the search box, "event viewer"
Your computer could be overheating. Make sure the computer gets enough air circulation. You can monitor computer temperature using a program. A program called Speed Fan will do this. Click here for SpeedFan.
