Question about IBM 6400 Matrix Printer
I have a 6400 printer that works very well with normal paper module.
Loading paper with very 3 thin carbon copy module have problem. It's like the machine does'nt sense the paper. Any solution ? (I am not confidential with this unit). Tank you
The 6400 paper present sensor works off the reflection of the paper itself, so if the paper you are using is black on the back the sensor cannot work as there will be no reflection. You need to remove the sensor and rotate it in its housing 90 degres so that it is facing the flag on the paper motion sensor, you may also have to paint this flag white (reflection to work) tipex is ok for this.
