Question about Acclaim Turok 2: Seeds of Evil for Nintendo 64
Keep in mind this minimun requeriments for Win
'98/ME/2K/XP, 500 Mhz Processor, 256 MB RAM, 32 MB Vid Card, 2.4 GB HD
Space, 4X CD-ROM, Windows 95/98, 2X CD-ROM, 245 MB Hard Disk Space,
Pentium 166, 3D Accelerator
It works with WinXP - definately. I played it just a few days ago. There are just two things I had problems with:
1. Make sure you've selected Direct3D and then '3D Card not listed below' as the graphics adapter.
2. Change your CD drive. Turok's very picky about in which drive you've inserted the CD. It's copy protection only works in your master CD drive.
I looked it up now. My config is set to '_Ulisted D3D Card' - 1280x1024 fullscreen, 32Bit, med contrast and everything else turned on.
In the Video menu my Card is then listed by it's driver name (NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT D3D). MipMapping, HighDetail and Trilinear Filtering turned on.
But if it helps you I'll still post my Turok2.ini file (I guess, that's what you meant).
Also, cpuld check in THIS LINK this quote: ...posted a link to a patch that will cure all your problems, as well as instructions on how to apply the patch. It is a user made patch, not the official one thats out that just fixes multiplayer issues. Game has worked flawlessly for me since I applied it. You will still need a CD rom in the drive or an image mounted on the hard drive to play music. Follow the link below and scroll to the bottom. Its under the same user name as I have in here (cbburtraw). All the info you need is in the last 3-4 posts. Happy Hunting!
