Due to inexperience with on line shopping I appear to have ordered two cordless digital phones when I only wanted one. Is there any solution to this problem?

Online shopping is quite confusing even for old timers. As long as the item is within 30 days based on the date of purchase, then you should have no problem returning this to Amazon. All you have to do is to go to their Return Center and fill out the information.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/css/returns/homepage.html/ref=hp_901888_gen_orc

Before you do this, you might need to check too if you bought it directly from Amazon or thru Amazon Marketplace. Amazon Marketplace means that you bought it thru a reseller that displays their products in Amazon. In this case, you might need to contact the reseller directly.Phone numbers are usually located in the invoice you received. Never open the duplicate nor put any markings on its box. This will let resellers charge you a restocking fee which costs around 10-20%.

How do i fix my landline phone?

hmm im not sure if there's an issue with the base for your wireless phones but it maybe that the phones arent able to determine if the base is active (EG the right base for the phones) some may need to be paired up to the base or the base maybe malfunctioning due to the lightning storm (Phone lines are prone to being struck at times which could send a surge to some types of phone bases and ruin them)

Coil Packs keep on blowing replaced them and the car won't start. Someone told me the engine harness may have to change! Please help :(

Why would a wiring harness have to be changed

We get more screw ball questions here

Use common sense. Why would a wiring harness
just go bad or wear out ,there wires.

Could the harness been mishandled several times
by mechanics. Yes

Half of all problems are put into vehicles, due to
sloppy work and inexperience

All you need to do,is go to a repair shop with a
reputation of solving your kind of issues

You need to research a repair shop before you need
one,not when your broken down

No one can answer your question. Your car has to be
properly tested. So spend a lot of time explaining what you
want checked out & don't leave any car without a road
test in which you and a mechanic go on

Also, you only authorize work in person, not over the phone,
so plan on going to the shop a couple of times.
All work to be done is put on a repair order you read
and approve, before any work is done

I just want to make sure that I am shopping for the right product. We have a dental office with 1 phone#, but we have a rollover line. Our fax has it's own# which "was" what we called line 3 but as of...

Yes, you can use a regular 2 line cordless phone with your 4 line corded systems. The only concern is when you put someone on hold. The on hold function may not release if you have different makes of phone. If you already have Panasonic get a Panasonic 2 line cordless phone with the on hold feature.

Yes, you can just take line 3 and plug it into your new fax. I might suggest looking into a fax to email service instead of buying a new fax. If you receive more than send it's a great way to save on the phone line and paper.

Digital phones are pretty secure, no one will accidentally hear your conversations. It is not encrypted but I think it would be perfectly fine in your office.

How to add a second lint to Nortel Phone System???

So what, exactly, is your question? Physically, you order a second line in a "hunt" group, and plug or wire it into the system cabinet. By default, a Nortel system has 2 lines already programmed to the sets, but you will probably need to activate the second line appearance in programming.

Do you need to purchase a special plan from your phone provider in order to use a digital cordless phone...or can you use your regular landline connection?

Nope you can you use a digital cordless phone on any analog or digital line. The term "digital" in refrence to the phone just means that the wireless signal between the base and the cordless is digital. Where as the actual line that the base is plugged into can be analog or digital.

Hope this helps

Caller ID Problem on the GE2811 Twin cordless phone system

How to get the caller ID to work on the additional GE DECT phone handsets. You must follow these steps in the exact order :
#1 - unplug the base phone
#2 - unplug the telephone line from the base phone
#3 - remove the battery packs from the phones
#4 - wait 10 minutes. reverse the order when assembling. Put battery packs in phones, put the telephone line back in the base phone and lastly plug all phones back in.
It takes about another 10 minutes after that before all phone handsets start recognizing caller ID.
