Question about Kenmore 92812 / 92814 Electric Kitchen Range
This has been a problem that these ovens have had The problem that the oven electronic temperature sensor is getting either a bad reading from the controle board or the sensor itself is faulty
When this happens the oven will continue to heat up till it reaches a runaway temperature generally 550 degrees
So what you will want to do is remove the temperature sensor and have it tested it should read at least 1000 ohms if not it needs to be replaced
