Shredder is jammed. Won't work.

If the shredder has power, the sheet detector may be blocked by a scrap of paper. Also, cross cut shredders that are an integral unit are best cleaned by turning them upside down to get access to the mechanism. Finally, if the motor became very hot an internal thermal fuse may have opened in which case the shredder will have to be replaced.

Audio getting cut during peaks ..

You are driving the receiver too hard on the peaks so it is temporarily shutting down for protection.

I have a ID Armor 15-Sheet Cross Cut Shredder.. The problem is it runs constantly on the auto position.. I cleaned the paper eye with canned air & swabs but it still runs all the time.. Can you suggest...

lots of shredders having problems like this. Easy way is to turning off the machine when you don't use it. Harder way is to disassemble it and clean everything you can. Maybe you will have to replace a sensor with new one. You have to spend some money:(

Sky magic eye not working on hd

I work for Sky as an Engineer.

on your Sky HD remote:

service,
4,
0 1 select
4
make sure the power is turned ON

now go to the room you can not change the sky channels over with.
you should notice on the magic eye itself should now have a Red led light on it now. you should now be able to change the channel over just remember to press the blue sky button on the remote at the top otherwise this will not operate the sky box.

If not unplug this magic eye and try this directly into RF out 2 to make sure that its not the magic eye that is at fault. If it is working correctly then the light will appear.

Hope this helps

Check that your speaker cables are not touching each other at the amp end and also at the speakers as this will cause the amp to shut down.

Won't stop running in auto mode

This is an issue with the paper feed sensor if it is mechanical switch there may be paper holding switch in active position if it is a elecronic sensor (looks like the bulb on the end of a remote located in the center on both sides of the paper slot) it may simply need to be cleaned with a Q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol. If cleaning or unsticking switch does not work you will have to contact the manufacturer for any parts replacement.
