your scanner is ok. But there is communication problem from computer to scanner . For that Check your usb cxable and usb port of computer working fine. Try in another usb port. If you have other port like parallel port then check it. Check drivers of scanner are instaled proeprly. Ig already installed then uninstall it and install again. Also uninstall all usb drivers then restart the computer then it automatic install usb drivers . you can uninstall usb drivers from computer with device manager. Press windows key + Pause break key to see system proeprty then go to hardware then you see device manager then uninstall all usb drivers.
go to my computer property then hardware then device manager then
uninstall usb drivers then right click any driver and clik on scan for
hardware then it install automatic usb drivers. then restart computer then connect pen drive to computer then check if still face problem try all usb port of computer. also check your usb port of computer are working fine.
