Question about Maytag Neptune MAH5500B Front Load Washer
At the end of the wash cycle the machine will not extract the water in the spin cycle. Told it needs a new Circuit Board and WAx Motor. Can this be fixed by a do it yourselfer?
To be 100 % sure ,do this ,pull the whole face panel forward (remove the 3 screws on top face panel and may have 2 more in the back of the face panel)Once youve pulled the panel forward you will see your control board facing you.Look closely at the circuit board and look for a burnt circuit (CALLED R-11) .iF YOU SEE IT BURNT ,REPLACE THE WHOLE BOARD. I HAVE A COUPLE OF BOARDS AVAILABLE AND WAX MOTORS BUT I'LL NEED THE SERIAL NUMBER FIRST. Either way the board is easy to install the wax motor is a little more difficult.
