Will Mercury 810e motherboard support 1.0 GB (512 MBX2) SD RAM?

I cannot directly answer that question because you did not supply the motherboard model number. You will have to look this up yourself, here is the url for Mercury support
http://www.mercury-pc.com/downloads.php
The model number is usually printed on the motherboard, find it and you can download the manual, specs and drivers.

Regarding upgrading RAM

You'll need 184-pin ddr sdram memory
Supported speeds are 333, 266, and 200 mhz
Max memory for your motherboard is 2 gb, so the best you can get for your motherboard is:
2 x 1GB 333mhz 184-pin DDR SDRAM
