Trying to Load Video from Amazon Unbox - Help

I bought a cartoon from Amazon Unbox digital media service. It downloaded to my PC just fine and I also downloaded the additional file needed to copy the cartoon to a device (my daughter's Insignia Sport 2GB Video MP3 player). Amazon says if your device is PlaysForSure compatible it should work OK (Documentation says the Insignia Sport 2GB* Video MP3 player is compatible).

The Amazon Unbox software recognizes the Insignia player and copies over the cartoon media file...but the player does not recognize or display the new video in the video menu.

I noticed that Amazon Unbox copied the video to a subfolder as follows: Video >> Amazon -- Does that make a difference? Please help me figure out why the player does not recognize/show the new video within its video menu....Thanks for your help!

The file extension is usually *.avi on Insignia players. So try renaming the file.

I have bought ipod (MP4-TOUCH SCREEN),how do i load songs and videos on it .

Inorder to put music and video on your iPod you need todoenload the latest verson of iTunes from apple.com/iTunes/downloads. After installing it on your pc add music to the iTunes library and sync your iPod with the iTunes. Same thing for the video too. Hoe this should help.

I just bought the sylvania mp3 player smpk4233. I have windows07 and the disc doesnt down load. What do I do? Is this really needed?

The disc is not needed.
My experience using it:
I had to search the drive to find the setup.exe then it installed fine on my Windows 7 Pro 64 bit PC. I installed it for the video conversion utility (which I had to find manually once installed, also). Currently trying it all out, wish me luck in usability!

Downloading music for the first time

You CAN use Amazon, but you may have to convert the songs via iTunes before they will load. If the songs fail to convert, then you purchased the songs in protected WMA format, which just will not work with the iPod. You cna purchase songs via iTunes - those will definitely work.

There was a time when free music was plentiful - not anymore.
You can try using the free services like Limewire, Morpheus, Forstwire, etc., but I do not reccomend them:
A) They are virus-prone
B) some ISP's will cut off your internet service if you use them
C) You have to be careful that you are only downloading songs that are in mp3 or AAC format- other formats won't work on your ipod
