How does one take apart the control panel for a Delonghi R030715T upright oil-filled heater?

seems to me you have a bad bearing in the fan. if you can access the fan, have a few drops of oil poured on the shaft of the fan and see if it solves your prob.

It was very tough to find the actual manual online for your modle in English. However, you can call Delonghi customer support:

Hello I have a Delonghi KR031225 found that after turning it on and it heated up it began leaking on the bottom corner on the same panel that holds the controls? What could be wrong? Is it beyond repair?

My heater was on and fall down for 1 hour an d now its not working


Unplug, set upright, let oil go back down to base. Check owners manual for reset. Make sure to let unit set upright for a couple hours then plug in and try operation. If unit still does not work contact Delonghi and maybe they can help.

It stopped working


If its like the TRN0812T, I had to reset the small circuit breaker under the control panel/cover, had to remove the 2 torx screws under the leg on the control panel side.

If it is tripping the breaker in the panel, there is a direct short in the heater. Scrap it before it causes a fire. Seriusly

DeLonghi 5108 Oil Filled Radiator no longer works?


The DeLonghi 5108 has no thermal fuse. There was a problem with the control panels and DeLonghi was to offer free repair. Details on http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml91/91108.html
